    When you see the craftsmanship behind how these chains are made it makes you develop a new appreciation for these pieces, and respect for the labor that is put into these pieces.

    Beautiful piece. Thank you for showing us the entire process. I had no idea how much went into it. This is a very good example as to why gold jewelry cost more than the base price of gold. Alot of work goes into making these.

    Hey, really nice work you did here! There is something I've seen multiple times in your videos. You snap the Rings with the Wire cutter. In my opinion you can improve the quality of your rings by sawing them. Otherwise you will press down the edge while snapping and create a larger gab that has to be filled with solder. Keep going I love your videos

    • @Native_love
      @Native_love 3 роки тому +1

      I think that with the rings being so small they lose less gold by using a wire cutter. Rings that small will take a small saw but the ratio of saw size to to gold diameter means the saw removes a lot of gold compared to large diameter gold rings and smaller saw bits. So less gold that you need to recover after cutting it. Thats my guess and I appreciate them showing us how to cut without a tiny saw for us beginners.

    • @Native_love

      And I think they have special jewlers "wire cutters" that cut straight through so that the cut ends are flush.

      Very good "bad idea" !

    • @xXFlomoshenXx
      @xXFlomoshenXx 3 роки тому +1

      @@Native_love Yes that ist a good point. And maybe you are right with that I'm not a goldsmith. But if you look closely the gap created by snapping is relatively equal to a gap produced by a wiresaw. Maybe I wasn't clear enough in my comment because I also wanted to show the negative of snapping in pressing down on the material pushing it sideways so the diameter increase. That causes the solder to form a ball around the weld. Greets and tanks for your response
