I have the TapCooler which is pretty much the same thing. You may have figured this out by now, but after purging shove the bottle up into the seal and then press the purge button AGAIN to pressurize the bottle. Then, open the faucet, and since the keg and bottle are at the same pressure it shouldn’t even flow at all, this is when you open the PRV thing up, slowly at first, then once you have about 2-3 inches of beer in the bottle, slightly twist out to fill faster (the foam seems to only really happen at the beginning of the transfer). Very little foam and no O2, I’ve had even hazies last in bottles for months.
    Cheers!

@@GREEENZO Nice, thanks for the tip! That makes a lot of sense and will definitely work better than how I was doing it so I appreciate you sharing. I've since gotten a Rapt filler and Cannular canner but I'm sure I'll still have the need to do some bottles with the Nukatap filler, and this will help me do much better next time. Cheers!

Interesting stuff. I do have the Tapcooler that I use from time to time for a few bottles here and there. The Tapcooler bleed valve has a hose you can add, so I'm always purging the bottles and excess foam thru that. I.e. purge and then pressurize the bottle so there is gas escaping thru that bleed valve hose... it does go to a waste container and usually has foam so it's easy to tell. But from there once I start filling the bottle, if a little foam is in the bottle, I can keep filling to push it out thru that hose. I can get a good fill and the mess is container. But things get better when you get the experience on the equipment. Cheers!

The hose on the Tapcooler sounds like a nice feature. I'm going to more bottling this weekend so we'll see if I can make way less of a mess and waste less beer this time around. Cheers!

@@irondalebrewing ya, I’m sure it’ll get better with more reps! Cheers!

If you are filling pet bottles just use a carb cap on the bottle. Purge with CO2 first by attaching gas and cracking the carb cap open a little. Leave the bottle under pressure, connect the liquid disconnect and crack the carb cap open a little to control the flow. Simple!

What is the tube minimum length say for 250cc beer bottles

@@michaelcatto8323 Pushed all the way in the stainless tube is 6 5/8" from the bottom of the silicone fitting. Adding the depth of the silicone fitting that goes into and over the top of the bottle, the total minimum length is about 7 3/8". Hope that helps!
