This Peugeot came to me with Airbag issues...
After someone bodged it, and obviously didn't fix it, it ended up here... throwing the code 7362...
After a few checks and measurements, found the culprit, and it might not be anything you would think it could cause an Airbag light on!
The problem was not completely repaired on this video, if the owner wants a full repair, will be another video for it...

Hello there , i wanted to get in contact with you to ask about "Citroen C4 1.6 HDI 2008" can't fix it. It has issue appearing while driving "gearbox faulty" and i need to turn of the car and turn back on to make it disappear, it's automatic but when going from gear 1 to gear 2 (automatic) it's like switching hard not smoothly. Any help you can give what could be the issue?
I have sent to fix it,but unfortunetly couldn't make it possible to fix it.
Do you know which faults the car is storing?
Has live data been checked and analysed?

Great one again Luis, both the fix and the story. Might be just me but I just can't comprehend people going into all the trouble with opening the cluster and bodging tiny LED light connections up down and sideways rather than investigating the background of a fault code.

More time is wasted on the bodge than would on the actually repair...🤪

There was a time when people had common sense and they didn't need dozens of led's to tell them not to be stupid.
If you tell the costumes that the airbag light was on because of additive pump he will believe you without any questions 😅😅

Think I have the same issue with my 3008. Did you have trouble disconnecting the plug from the fuel additive pump, I can’t seem to release it 🤦🏻
Imagine going through all that work of bodging just to replace a switch or LED.
Great job as always, weird why "drive" lin bus shoot down "body" lin on different plug , or they are connected internally inside bsi.. much more things should lost communication..

Well done louis for fixing it, would of been interesting to see live data from dpf pressure sensor and exhaust temp sensors to see if dpf had been deleted . Looks like further dpf issues to follow 😅😅

MOT tester here. You can only fail it if the airbag light is on, warning messages don't count. They still wasted their time because it can only be failed if it comes on, if they'd just removed the LED completely it would have passed.
I know...
A silly MOT rule in my opinion...
As it leaves a lot of room for cars to be bodged...
Who knows how many cars are out there on the roads that will not deploy the airbags in case of an accident...
I couldn't be in peace with my conscience thinking that someone could get severely hurt or even die because of an airbag that failed to deploy because was bodged rather than fixed correctly...
ESP and ABs systems the same thing...
I get some people just don't have a conscience...

Btw there is certainly something about that in technical bulletin and wires like this are used for boot mode usually , nice camo but it s still scam for the buyer
Yes on some car's they have it on the dash or they have it somewhere else in the car to say If the passenger airbag is on or off

I've done a few of these additive pumps and comms faults showing with them as well but never seen it upset the Airbag circuit before. great find fella. P.S. it's always easy to say how did i not check that?" after you find the problem with electrics E.G. went to the underside and unplugged the pump 10 mins after you started but cant think of anybody that would have went to that for an airbag fault first😆😆😆. I had exactly the same fault with my old Peugeot. 2 garages couldn't solve the problem so I had to get shut of it. Never buying a Peugeot ever again. Fault code 7362 / 0362 😢
Hello, thanks for sharing this video! I have the same problem in my car, do you think it is possible to do the same job with a Lexia Diagbox scanner? I mean enter the configuration of turning off the presence lights of seat belts not adjusted led strip on th LIN? Thanks!

I left the car in the mechanic 3 months to solve this and another problem but he couldnt solve the airbag light . I saw your video and shared it but he told me that he didn't have the same scanner as you but the lexia what is the Peugeot citroen officer. I will ask him to try again following what you did in the video

How would you know if someone disabled a seatbelt warning light because it comes on with the key but turns off immediately and never come back on again even if your belt is not tied my car is a 2019 ford KA I think it uses fiesta parts. Doe in the book it does say you can turn it off if you go to the dealer but I've looked in the scanner and I don't see any way of turning it on or off
Some cars you can indeed turn it off...
Not sure on that one...
Perhaps your tool is not able to do it?
Not all tools can do those types of procedures...

You did it again. I have exactly the same faults on my 207 come up a couple of days ago been scratching my head. Why the additive pump should affect the airbag light is beyond me.

Had a 308 2014 last week. Same problem. Aditive pump was shorting 1 wire lin bus. Mine had battery charge sensor error and baterry management unit error.
Diffrence is that 2014 308 has another lin bus network for airbag . There where 3 networks. 2 single wire and one with 2 wires.
Mine was in limp mode all the time.

@@LMAutoRepairs noup. Piece of sh psa has like opel a new lin bus protocol. 2 wires. Tommorow I will give you the diagram . I was surprised too. But like 2014 ++
