Really the most "serious" villain is Rafisol. Meanwhile the other 4 villains Satan: Just wants to marry Arle, and has ridiculous plans to go with it Popoi: Just acts as the final test really Ecolo: (at least in 20th) Just wants to make others happy. Strange Klug: *Literally NO ONE takes him seriously, and he probably just wants his body back.* And getting into Ex's character as a whole would be spoilerrific beyond repair for PPT.
Wizzkid was I think this theme is better than Strange Klug's theme. Especially when you play it on Fever itself. The heartfelt vocals are just heavenly.
I'd say go to Puyo Puyo 7 after Fever 2. THEN move onto 15th and 20th Anniversary. And I'll be honest... I prefer Japanese Subtitles and Voice than to deal with those shitty English Voices... *Shutters*
