I LOVE Aurelius, he's been through so much! I really wish he's going to be in FB4! The plot on FB3 was a bit odd, but hopefully they can sort everything out in the next movie.

I suddenly realised how Aurelius being an obscurus must have been Aberforth’s absolute worst nightmare, first he had to watch his favourite person in the world suffer for most of her life with it and now the same thing is killing his son and it could have been prevented if he’d known about him and he hadn’t been sent to live with that awful woman
It's actually far worse than Ariana. Ariana died suddenly. Long before her obscurus would have killed her. And while what happened was no less horrible, it was likely quick, and she probably didn't suffer. Aurelius on the other hand will be killed by his obscurus, so it will be painful and long as he deteriorates before his father's eyes. Which is probably why Aberforth was so reluctant to claim Aurelius. Watching your child, especially one you didn't even know was still alive, waste away and die a painful death is a horrible thing to go through. At least Albus was finally able to convince that no matter what Aurelius needed his father, and that Aberforth would deeply regret not being there for his son when he needed his family the most.
@@celticwarrior184 I really lIke it when Aberforth Questions Harry in the Seventh Book about trusting his brother. Aberforth cared deeply for those he cared about.

FIVE years Aurelius stayed with Gellert, drawing in his hate, confusion and pain! His condition was not so poor in 1927. Like David Bowie sang in his Ziggy-era song “five years that’s all we’ve got”. If Aberforth hadn’t been such a coward, he could have got a little healthier son and much more time with him. But he was wiping the mirrors!

It's really sad though. He was a child from an orphanage, who just tried to amaze Grindelwald at first. He then became an obscurus and Grindelwald's puppet. He thought he was a Lestrange, but he wasn't. He got told he was a Dumbledore. Yet he never understood why they left him. Later on his magic kept destroying him.

(Take no offence to this please!) I think that he was an obscurus before meeting Grindelwald and it was probably caused from an abusive household maybe from his mother (possibly her and aberforth are split up now).
can not remember the last time i loved some movie like this, i have seen it in cinema twice, for me personally Jude did such an amazing job portraying Albus , the way he talked, the way he carried himself with knowledge of how powerful he was but also with carefulness... this was by far favourite of these 3 movies, it felt really special to get to see him interact with his brother, seeing the friendship of Minerva and Albus in early times , hearing them talk about Ariana...

I went two times too, thinking of going 3rd time... The movie is so good, the messages in it... brought me immense comfort.
He’s honestly such a heartbreaking character and I feel so bad for him. 😭 He’s just a broken young guy trying to figure out who the heck he is and what his worth is and I can kind of relate to that. Also people back then had to grow up really fast and I’m also one of them so me and him can relate.
So beautiful and emotional. Ezra is such a great actor that I had no idea he was the same guy from Perks of being a wallflower. When I googled and saw I was shocked. A very good actor and you depicted him at his best here

This is so well done. It made me cry a little for his character. He is now up there in one of the saddest characters along side Snape. All he wanted is to have his real name and know if his father or mother ever loved him. I hope this is not the end for him. If they do a Fantastic Beasts 4, I hope we see him smiling and living his life in peace. Thanks for uploading.
I too would like this ending for him, he is my favorite character, and I would like to see him still alive both in Fantastic Beasts 4 and also in 5. but I really think he will die, this is his destiny reserved from the beginning. Let's hope he survives😢 however it will be in good hands with Albus and Snape however it will be in good hands with Albus and Snape😓😓

Unfortunately, word is, Warner Brothers is not going to employ Ezra Miller any more because of all the lies being said about him on the internet. So I doubt there will be another one, at least not with Ezra.
Credence/ Aurelius might be my most favorite character in all the Fantastic Beasts movies! He is one of the most tragic characters I have ever seen! But I think he got his proper story and a nice ending in Secrets of Dumbledore. His story should be stopped from now on and more focus should be given to the battle between Grindelwald and Dumbledore and Newt's story.

This is FANTASTIC, Credence has got to be one of the most tragic Wizarding World characters. Glad he got to reunite with his family in the end at least!

@@gansozz8072 Yes it did. There was no charm or tenderness or anything ELSE in it that was in the former ones. It was mainly just a vehicle to force Roling to make herself woke by making the two main characters gay. It stank, frankly. It will probably be the last one. I did think Ezra was very good in it though.

It is strange and gratifying to watch how a downtrodden boy in a worn jacket turns into a powerful magician. It is a pity that he was influenced by his foster mother and became an obscurus. I want to see him happy in his family
Very, VERY beautiful video!!! One of the best characters in the Wizarding world, and his story is still far from complete. The nature and reason for his relationship with Nagini and the other side of his family should be unveiled properly. I hope they are. The character deserves it.

The only thing wrong with Aurelius is that they should have had some mention of him in the Harry Potter series. Otherwise, we all assumed Aberforth had no family because of that one visit. It makes you wonder what had happened with his son to make him end up alone.
I suspect the old inappropriate charms on a goat was cover story for explaining to the wider wizarding world what happened to Aberforth Dumbledore's son.
The way Colin and Johnny's Grindelwald touch Aurelius/Credence feels paternal, but with Mads it feels a bit sexual. I am the only one ?
Funny. I thought the exact opposite. I thought the way Colin and Johnny's Grindelwald touched Aurelius/Credence was sexual because Aurelius/Credence seemed to be attracted to them, but with Mads's Grindelwald it feels more paternal because Aurelius clearly sees him as a father figure, but he doesn't trust him anymore, and in the end, Aurelius betrays him and return with his real father.
The Dumbledore brothers are a very powerful duo

I hope they find a way to save him or a way to extract the obscurus without killing him because dang he just got reunited with his family would want to see him in future fantastic beast movies
Me honestly he has a much better chance at survival with the help from his father and dumbledore the most powerful wizards with healing and considering he is extremely powerful himself hence why he survived past childhood into adulthood most obscurials don’t survive past childhood he did I reckon they can help him hopefully in future movies. Plus he will have better training thanks to dumbledore he doesn’t have to be afraid of his powers anymore.

Supposedly they are pressing as felony "stealing" some cooking wine or something like that from a guy who was supposedly his friend since childhood, and with whom they had done things like this with each other forever(having free access to borrow something) . In the first place, that amount of money is NEVER pressed as a felony, and "breaking and entering"? He went in through an unlocked door. I think it will be a misdemeanor tops and not much will come of it. So if WB wants to continue the story with Ezra they could, but after seeing the movie, it looked to me like the whole series has just burned itself out.

Oh man. With everything going on with the actor Ezra Miller right now... I was honestly surprised to see him in Secrets of Dumbledore even though I had watched the others Fantastic Beasts, I just forgot he was in it.
Even though he's a terrible person, I liked him as a actor. He tanked his career and sucks I won't see his craft anymore. Yeah... anyways, tragic storyline... geez.
I think in the long run it will be shown that he is not such a a terrible person.
I don't think his career is tanked forever. Most of the things he is accused of were bogus anyway, like the grooming, kidnapping, etc. I think the people he worked for will see that.

I've only recently watched the fantastic beasts but this one from the 2nd installment I realized 1 thing I'm seeing Aurelius looks a lot like professor snape, and the original Harry Potter movies. Have not seen the books.( Is Aurelias dumbledore related to the Prince family?) is it possible that they're half brothers or cousins or something? Also the fact that a Aurelius and snape look almost exactly alike. And seem to almost have the same tortured aura or soul, about them. only Aurelius is an obscurest, and snape years later joined voltimoret as a death eater ,and then spyed on voldemort for Albis Dumbledore.
This is why we need flashbacks.

@@kathrynorozco5416 you should look it up. He's done everything from grooming children to starting barfights for no reason. He's also broken into several homes to threaten the people. In Hawaii he broke into a couples home in the middle of the night, because he felt the husband insulted him at the bar, and told them if he wanted to kill them he could have. On top of saying to multiple people that "he was a god" or a "prophet" and that he created the universe. Apparently he's been trying to build a cult on his Vermont farm from which pictures of toddlers playing with bullets have come. Dude has the potential of being a serial killer at the rate he's going if he doesn't get help or is stopped.
