Beautiful game Zach i see a big progress in your games and your confidence is clearly better too, continue this way!Your endgame is really impressive also. You can see the way your opponent responded to your nice moves as a lesson you can give to him and in this way,you can let go your anger and this lead you toward a mastery of your emotions and made you eventually against stronger cause anger can lead us to mistakes often.Beautiful play Zach continue this way, your progress is very impressive bro.🎉

    Great Game. Congrats!!
One question: do you know any books on "strategic puzzles" to practice longer calculation? For example it shows you a position and you have to find the best move(s) without a tactic in the position?

Perfect your chess has 300 positions where the first 100 of them are just to find the best move no tatic involved, but I think it's reccommended to higher rated players

As someone who likes to play 1. e4 Nc6 with black sometimes I think 2. d4 is not the most critical move as 2...d5 is the point, he gets a delayed scandy which I think is better than the regular version.
    2. Nf3 is probably the most dangerous for black players here. I usually play 1. e4 e5 so it's not a problem for me but if they don't normally play that and go for what he did in the game it's just a cramped unpleasant position for black. What you did is definitely fine but could get you in trouble vs more prepared opponents. Great game man!

Yes, I said it in the video. I saw until Nd7, Rxf7, Nxe5 and Rxc7. Even saw Nc4. It was a 15-18 minute turn of straight calculation. My opponent answered e5 in less than 30 seconds which shook me.

Everyone, even beginners can calculate, the difference is the accuracy and the depth of the calculation, so, if your opponent doesn't do it, he really isn't taking you seriously, doesn't matter if he's lower or higher rater (which was the case for the match presented in the video)

I disagree, the engine says Ng8 is the best move after e5 since the variation that was played simply loses a pawn. After Ng8, black gets an isolated pawn but does not lose a pawn.
