    Really great result. Improving all the time and nice to see the hard work paying off with that endgame knowledge. If you'd spoken it out loud to your opponent you might have saved 30 moves!

    Correct me if I am wrong
    But at 5:40 after the rook trade isn't the opponent's rook hanging with check ? So the black bishop can't take the "free" pawn on a3

    • @speclessthan3
      @speclessthan3 7 місяців тому

      King on g8, not f8.

    • @noahkrever1148
      @noahkrever1148 7 місяців тому +2

      @@speclessthan3he means the rook on a8 is hanging after Bxa3. But instead of taking on a3 the opponent can just move the rook to c8 for example and the a3 pawn can’t really be defended actively, and black is threatening to invade with the knight and/or queen in some lines.

    Love how you ignore what the engine says about the moves. I assume it's because of some nonsensical engine lines that take up too much time to explore and that 99% of humans wont play. Wish more chess videos would focus on humans instead of following those lines

      This is sadly how the UA-cam algorithm does NOT work. There's amazing content creators out there who get extremely unlucky or just make bad decisions with their channels and never go viral, and there's also terrible content out there that ends up getting spots like top 1/2/5/etc. most subscribed channel on UA-cam, even though it's just children's content. That stuff gets 50-100-150 MILLION subs while not using much effort in comparison to underrated channels like this one.

    Take-take-take: I replayed to see what you did but the rest was clear as crystal clear as always. When you say: See if you can find ... insert a second before showing what was played so that I can pause the tape and think. Your timekeeping was perfect this time!

    I love your videos but just one thing, stop using these big words like “logistically” and “scientifically” way out of context, you usually made no sense. It just makes you sound like you’re trying to look smarter than you are. I don’t mean this as an insult in any way it’s just constructive criticism.
