So when we heard about Genting Highlands - this huge entertainment district just an hour from Kuala Lumpur with an epic theme park - we knew Genting Highlands had to be our next stop!

U want to go to a theme park, I strongly suggest Sunway Lagoon (both water park and dry park). It's pretty much in KL (outskirts). Very easy to get there and more affordable too
Yea, usually we stay a night. After Fish & Chips, you just go across to the bar facing it and have some stouts with your buddies.

What a wonderful video. Really glad to see that you guys have had a marvelous time at Genting Highlands.
I also love fish and chips. I consider the dish as one of my comfort food. When I was growing up as a kid till teenager, my late mom always prepared fish and chips from her kitchen.
Back then, my late mom liked to use Spanish mackerel for the fish and the potatoes are cut in chips, not like the thick french fries. Even the coating is very different, I don't know where my late mom got the recipe, she used crumbs from cream crackers. Yummy.

If you guys really feel like having more fish and chips in Malaysia, try the fish and chips from Manhattan Fish Shop or my fav is from Secret Recipe.

Yes, you must stay a night to enjoy the night atmosphere at the Sky Walk over some drinks and hotpot. It's an experience not to be missed with the thick clouds blowing into the area.😊

Just so u know the "G" in Genting is pronounced like "G" in "gay". It's not "J" sounding. No big deal of course but just thought u'd want to know that. And thanks for the video, it's been ages since I went to GH. A lot of us locals watch youtube videos from foreign travellers to keep ourselves updated on the tourist industry so many people actually watch them kinda like a "guide" thing. It's ironic because we are locals haha

Do check out some churches in Malaysia too. Holy rosary in kl and st peter in melaka are worth visiting.

@@AbbyandGaz st peter is the oldest functioning church in malaysia and singapore, many tourists miss it due to it being a bit further from the center but it's a very historical building that still caters to the portuguese who are still residing in Melaka
As a Malaysian myself, I found Genting to be quite the money pit lol. Even the architecture & interior layouts were intentionally designed to keep you in & get 'lost' so to speak, thus you spending more money 😅 But glad you did somewhat enjoyed it
Omg really?? Cause we didn’t show it in the video but for the first 30 mins we arrived we couldn’t find the theme park and were lost even when following the sines 😂
do visit melaka and the oldest functioning church by the portuguese called st peter church, not to be confused with the 200 year earlier ruins of st paul that most go to and miss the other one.

Looks like another nice holiday! Did you guys prefer Bana Hills in Vietnam, or Genting Highlands in Malaysia? We are planning on going in 2 months, but can only choose 1 theme park.
Definitely genting highlands ☺️ more rides and to be honest we got horrible weather at bana hills so didn’t fully enjoy it!
I've been to Bana Hills in Vietnam and Genting Highland before covid 2019, between these 2 theme parks Genting Highland is the winner

@@AbbyandGazit’s actually pronounced with a hard G. Like the word Garbage. You’re pronouncing it like Jenting, which is wrong.
Its confusing, as you may pronounced it the G like in Gentleman, but since it is a Bahasa word just to clear it out that you pronounced it Genting with G like you would pronounce in Great. No harm, its a common mis-pronounciation by english speaker
Genting means PEAK in english. Its Bahasa word, where the pronounciation isnt as confusing as english
