The theme park was to debut as Fox theme park but right before the completion, Disney bought over Fox and cancelled the whole agreement. Some of the attractions were altered and some were retained through licensing agreement with Disney. Pity because it took few years for Genting to renovate the whole theme park. Anyway I hope your relatives had a good time.

RIO is a movie set in Brazil (hence the name 😁), so the setup for the RIO set at this theme park is Brazilian, not South Americas. Brazil is a very colorful country hence the colorful buildings there. Just a little quick note for everyone who may not know or realised. 😉😉😉
you went on rainy season dude. the cloudy gives people gloomy feels. if you go in the summer all those sun and wind gives you a much better energy and spirit. im sure it will be a blast.

The fire happened in June, and now is already January 2025. It has been 6 months..if in China or Japan, they have already fixed it within weeks. Yet they still charge full entrance fees even though many rides closed due to the weather sometimes. Its daylight robbery.
