- This time, eight Hollow Knight content creators (@CrankyTemplar @RelyeaGaming @Rusty._ @Skurry @T4coTV and Tsira) will be joining forces to complete the dreaded Hollow Knight room randomizer, a mod which shuffles every room in the game randomly. We'll also be using ItemSync Multiworld, a mod which randomizes all items and shares the pickups between all players... and we'll be going for True Ending! Much like last time, this will be incredibly confusing, but very fun!

The whole "find something, backtrack to others, then lead then to thing" sequence of events is just like ants. It's pretty meta and on theme that the mods have you playing the game in a style that is the strategy of other insects.

This would really benefit from some proximity-based voice chat. Or maybe just two channels for communication, like a global one and a "tactical" one, although not sure if it would be easy to reorganize on the fly
Or like a joint spreadsheet, that can be edited by multiple people, so they can see what has already been done.

Proximity chat but it's just based on the actual layout, not the random layout, so you go from Kingdoms Edge into Infected Crossroads and just hear "oh god I thought this was abyss"

The only part of the stream I caught live was Radiance, but I gotta say fireb0rn dodging Radiance beams for 15 minutes straight while everyone else went invincible or died and had to restart the fight was straight fire

Watching the vessels play jump rope with the Radiance beams was hilarious and adorable.
That was one of my favorite parts. It went on for so long and you think it would get boring, but it was fun to watch.

I haven't even started watching this yet and the thumbnail is giving me immense amounts of joy
No joke I think that patience and ability to persevere doing something very tedious or repetitive and find the fun in it has be a key skill to be a great speedrunner.

Honestly the room rando’s transition from King’s Pass to Howling Cliffs honestly seems almost vanilla like, although it obviously would have a implication that Hollownest is under a mountain that is probably as high as Mount Everest.

Sometimes I hate watching these because I’m constantly falling asleep while watching because it’s so relaxing, then I have to remember where I was again. I love these, but I hate myself for falling asleep.
It reminds me of when a bee falls asleep in a flower because it's so cosy
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. More people made it better imo, and this group specifically was incredible. So many laughs and so many wholesome moments. Definitely one of my favorite videos in a while. Thanks Fire! :D
there's smth about the super casual "oh no, I misgendered skurry, I'm so sorry" around 22:00 or so that just.. feels good. it's not made a big deal of, just a simple "sorry" and moving on.

Why is Lemm closed? I never had him like that. And I played multiple times and got to him from different locations, so I played different paths.

Like a external mapping program or a mod that adds a custom minimap that updates as rooms and their connections in the room rando are discovered.
non euclidian mapping, overlap issues - plus nobody knows rooms by the map anyway

Is it just me or does anyone else really enjoy path of pain? It was probably one of the sections I got the least mad at. I’m not good at the combat but the parkour in this game is fun.
I'm also much better at platforming than at boss fighting, path of pain and palace overall we're made for me ❤
