About Introducing live:
We recreate classic electronic albums that have never, ever been played! ...even by the original artists.
So far we have taken on DJ shadows 'Entroducing', Mr Scruff and Daft Punk's 'Discovery'.

Not Sure this is it but after a long night of searching i may of found the daft pack haven't had chance to test it yet but hopefully this brings joy to those of you looking for this pack since the link went dead many years ago (I Found it within a reddit users collection of mininova patches that he had collected over some time and was nice enough to share)

That link I posted does work just tests them I didn’t care for the naming conventions though so renamed and re-saved a new pack same thing more detailed names if anybody wants it thanks op

@@VitaEx Definitely. Do you need any others? I spent the last evening downloading whatever presets I could find until I found that some user had posted an almost complete dropbox archive in the comments of a reddit article. I can look that up if it helps.
I guess this search for presets is the price you pay when you choose a relatively cheap but good synth: less accessibility of individual sounds, unless you want to labor through the button-operated menu or use the respective mininova plugin in your music software. Otherwise it's just presets.

Is there a way to save a loop you create using different instruments? also, is there a way to control its sounds using another midi stuff? I am quite obsessed with some day controlling one of these toys using my guitar (with a midi converter)

you know most of daft punk besides the vocoder. is just sampled from old records right...? lol
DJMOOREHOUSE actually the vocoder part on the DP song is also a sample!
They still add additional parts over the samples.

I'm late to comment on this, but I do need to point out for people wanting to play HBFS with the MiniNova: The VOCODER is not what is used for the lyrics in Harder Better Faster Stronger. Daft Punk used a talk box, which I'm pretty sure can be used with a MiniNova, not exactly sure though.
I believe in that era, they didn't have the money for a high end vocoder, so they bought a cheap one and paired it with a talkbox for clarity...

No .. they used a Roland VP-9000.
+David Prouty They used the VP9000 for sampling. The Vocoder they used was the Sennheiser VSM 201..

+David Prouty Maybe you are right. I read that they used the VP9000 on discovery and the VSM 201 on RAM.

wow those patches are amazing! i was checking your live performance vids and you guys sound amazing, i wish the download link were working so could try them out i cant seem to make any patches near that sound with that quality :( Cheers and keep up the good music!
