another piece of gold here. i've been watching your stuff for over a year and you still manage to deliver some genuinely helpful insight that makes me more motivated to play piano
Wish I had a teacher like you. Love the way you organize your content. Simple and to the point, where even a fool like me could comprehend without much effort. Thank you, Mr. Jason. Keep up your good work and keep enlightening us with your knowledge. ❤
Another amazing lesson. Anchoring the fifth reminded me of yet another pivotal Swedish jazz pianist, Esbjörn Svensson. Do check his Trio out if you don't know them already :).
This is helpful to me. I hadn't looked at the fifth that way. But, each time you change that fifth isn't it a different chord then? (Likewise with the first)

Can you make a video on midi implementation using Roland rd88 ? How good is it as a midi controller? How good the keybed reacts with vsti ? Thanks.
Have you seen this one Sankar - ua-cam.com/video/uiDMZcwmnxk/v-deo.html

Roland RD88 and Yamaha CK88 - ua-cam.com/video/uiDMZcwmnxk/v-deo.html
Hi!
Hi Jack! Thanks for giving the lesson a view!
This is helpful to me. I hadn't looked at the fifth that way. But, each time you change that fifth isn't it a different chord then? (Likewise with the first)
Yes. Of course! Will do another lesson highlighting this further
Nice
Thanks much Pathak!
Sir🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the wishes Praneeth 🙏🏼
What about 7th chords?
You can get quite a few of them keeping C minor pivoted in the RH Francis
Cm/Eb = Em major 7
Cm/A - A minMaj7
and so on....
