  • I am out On some estimates fortennis court repairs and what each court would entail to get it back to where it needs to be. I found an estimate today where it had 2 tennis courts that needed to be replaced and 2 that could be repaired so I thought it would be a good idea to show the contrast between the 2 and why.

Our park & rec dept is underfunded so and our parks and courts are trash. I'm 0% NOT a professional, but been throwing my own money & time at fixing cracks so we can skate on courts w/out breaking bones. Soooo, I much appreciate your content. I can tell you really care about your work.

One thing I learned If you can try to sugar coat things you can try to pass things off Enough to get you through that 1st year but When you're in this industry there aren't many people to call so if they start having problems after the 1st year on something that You didn't do 100% correct to start you wind up having to deal with it so if you just push them on the doing stuff the correct way the 1st time then you'll save yourself a lot of hassle down the road

@@thesealerguys Exactly. Do what you can to learn at your level. You can reach high, just not so high, your quality is shit and costs the customer more fixing your failure. Called with a few questions via your business line, was a Louisiana #. sent a text. I don't know if its a land line. Thanks again, great content, much appreciated.

@@richardstrickland This is not something that happens overnight this takes years and years to develop a good technique and honestly to get your work to where it will stand the test of time it's not like seal coating a lot of guys who seal coat think it's interchangeable just by the color of the material but that's not the case

@@thesealerguys That is my issue. Finally will have money to get my LLC up and going in August. Was dialed in on pressure washing. Stumbled across the niche market of line striping. Then found seal coating. Parking lots here wrecked faded lines, jacked up stencils. I want to pick one, dial it in, then in time add the other services. Take it slow, easy does it. Just on the fence about which will be the best to start. Line striping seems the best one since it seems to be the most needed. low threshold of entry and setup. that was my primary question. Which would you suggest, first? Thanks for your time

@Richard Strickland I mean they go hand-in-hand with one another You're not gonna make a killing doing line stripping it's gonna take you years to develop yourself and acquire the equipment to actually do bigger jobs enough to wear you can start slamming money in the bank. Seal coding also as a very low barrier to entry because You can make a homemade rig Lying stripping should be something that you offer is piter your seal coating company. Because again it's gonna take you a while to develop yourself in that market to the point where people know you enough And trust You enough to work on commercial properties so you're going to get You're start on driveways

I really have learned a lot from your videos. Top notch, right to the point! Question... we have an asphalt tennis court that has weathered away for years, we will never play tennis on it but we have a soccer goal and basketball goal the kids train and play on. There is no green acrylic left on it and you can only barley see some of the white lines left. It is very flat and in pretty good shape other than some cracks. I want to protect it and make it look better so I am going to squeegee seal coat it. My question is, what's the most cost effective way to fill the cracks first. Cold pour filler from big box, make and mix my own cement, sand mix, Aqua-phalt? I have watched your vids on all your different methods, I'm really curious on you opinion considering we will not color it and we have lots of cracks. I wish I had the money to hire a pro like you but I don't.

Yeah just the videos of how I do the crack fIlling. If you wanted to get some rolls of fiberglass like the stuff you would use on dry wall seams and go over it with that. Once you get the acrylic you lay the fiberglass mesh down on top of it and Use the color acrylic as a glue you'll need to go over it a couple of times but by the time You're done with your final Coats they shouldn't be noticeable it will probably ripple over time
