- Well I hope you enjoy, this was a brutal job but extremely satisfying seeing the end result. Stay tuned for us chemically treating it and possible resurfacing it next year! One more video planned before the year is over, it's going to be a crazy one.

A little suggestion. Always position the wheelbarrow in the direction you are going before filling it up. Saves you some energy when you don't have to turn with it full.
And a flat tyre makes it even harder 😉
It is a typical Dutch model of snow scraper, it is called a “sneeuwschuiver”. I will have look for that particular model on the websites of our typical garden center, farm supply and DIY shops.
It seems much more reinforced than snow shovels I’ve seen here in New England nowadays. I’d also pay the extra to get a snow shovel that will last 10+ years.
Looks like an aluminium front edge with a formed plywood with a big steel or tin(?) plate with some big U-bolts and the handle is shaped to fit the scoop 😍

This is one of those jobs where you know it will turn out amazing, but within the first 15 minutes, you question why you took this on in the first place. Amazing work as always! Happy holidays to you and your family, Sid!
haha i was literally so overwhelmed - took about 10 minutes to scrape the first little section in the top corner and I did the maths in my head and thought oh no what have I done!! 3 days later we did it :D

Your suffering isn't the draw, but I'm glad you're honest about how physically taxing your work can be. Everything looks lovely sped up and in the before and after shots, but you remind us that real people are doing real, amazing work to make it happen! Day 2 I was hurting pretty bad but somehow felt fine after that - I was expecting to be in bed for a few days after i finished, must be high off the good result :D have a greatchristmas and thanks for all the support all this time!

Hello From Finland.. Those snow showels are commonly available in Finnish hardware stores... Some says that its snowpusher with aluminium blade...

As ever - sterling approach and delivery to a job that the tennis court experts wouldn’t even touch. That homeowner is one lucky person to now have the result on their land that previously was a thorough mess and almost un-rescuable. Long-term job as you say, but once done will be amazing - can’t help thinking once the ground is done how much that wall at the back needs a steam clean. With a new fence it could look stunning, but they’d need to get their AmEx out . . . Happy Christmas to you and the team and not forgetting your own family who do so much to support you with the relentless hours you put into your business and they don’t get to see you. They might say they see more of you online . . . .get some rest..

I had the same tennis court job last year and got through 8 plastic snow shovels, it’s a back breaking job, I will say from experience if it’s not sealed off it will be a magnet for weeds, happy Christmas enjoy.

I'm glad to see that you finally got the proper tools. I was thinking that this was going to be one long video if you kept using that short garden spade.
You should get an air compressor kit for your car, if you don't already have one (replying to your comment about a flat wheelbarrow tyre). My dad's got one and it's incredibly easy to use. Just plug it into the tobacco lighter (if you have one) thing on the dash board and that's it. Costs like 25€ so maybe like 20 pounds? The price is the part which blew my mind the most, so cheap yet so useful.

The wooden snow scrapers are ideal.
Used then here in Germany for years.
Tip: remove the front metal edge and with use they'll curve slightly to become more plough like. Plus they are a lot quieter

22:14 shout out from Germany here. They are quite common over here, we have one, they’re called holz-schneeschieber (wooden-snow slider, direct translation). You can pick on up from from the B&Q equivalent for 30-50€.
