I paint in the same style with watercolor (where as Charlie uses dye) but I love creating images that other people may see differently…..they read the shapes & values the way my brother & I use to see animals in the clouds. I see the ship & ur interest motivated me to engage. I think ur reading is fantastic! Being familiar with Charlie’s work, I assume its a tree line with sunlight creating a value shift as it breaks through the tree tops verses the shadow below in the denser foliage. Honestly? I like the ship 😃 but either way, its a wonderful painting. Thank u for sharing the battle ship comment, u steered me towards a really cool image. The best to u & yours. ✌🏻🎨🥳
I love this. I've just discovered mixing Winsor Green and W&N Burnt Sienna together and was going to paint using just those two for a while. I might just start experimenting like you have done here. Thank you.
Love your shows! I need to send my $20 in for my Mountain Maryland assurance! LOL. JK. I am looking forward to meeting the great Charlie Hunter next week.
Once again watching in the evening on the big tube. Once again enjoying it.
Charlie, I think the fourth painting looks like a big American warship. Very cool!

Charlie, these are beautiful, had so much fun watching this and am very inspired to give it a try and play with the materials I have on hand. Thanks!
