Not a band I took seriously at all for many years, but they just seem to get better and better with each album. Death Atlas and Terrasite have taken them to a whole new level imo. Two of my all time favourite albums now. Great musicians, great arrangements, probably the best vocalist in the genre and incredible production. They really are ticking all the boxes these days. Great stuff.

The whole album is so brutal yet almost tearjerkingly beautiful in parts. Like finding a live puppy in a traincrash. Feels much more technical, or atleast it comes through better with mr. Oteros amazing production. This is the best album of the year, no contest. Its so versetile, yet no song stands out or is of a lesser quality. Terrasite is their opus magni this far.
Cattle Decap certainly don't muck about when it comes to production quality! And the fact that they were able to make it emotive but still keep that reckless careless brutality is awesome!
I agree. Ever since Death Atlas came out I've had trouble not taking Cattle Decapitation seriously. They're definitely matured.

This album is all just fantastic. From the vocabulary and writing to the instruments to Travis's fucking GNARLY voice, even doing some TRUE CLEANS this go around more often. I dig it! Favorite Tracks: The Insignificants, A Photic Doom, Solastalgia, and Just Another Body

Another band I just got into this year. This album is amazing. It's brutal AF but there's a lot of melody in there too. Lyrics are well written . And the vocals are so awesome. I like the previous album too. I find it more menacing than Terrasite.

Haven't heard chunk blower, only got to hear them with Death Atlas and have no regrets. Amazing band! We have recently found King Diamond through a reaction on the channel! On the fence about it but sure was fun! / George
While I've heard of them back when I saw the absolutely disgusting album cover of "Humanure" on a CD rack once upon a time, I only really started listening to this band in their "Harvest Floor" days. I wasn't the biggest fan entirely then, and I still think Harvest Floor in general is just ok, but I absolutely loved the intro track "Gardeners of Eden" and the end track "Regret and the Grave" (still do), seeing these as examples of their potential for something far more than just brutal goregrind.
Then, I heard "Your Disposal" from "Monolith of Inhumanity", taking a step closer in intrigue, realizing my previous thought may just be correct, before falling in love with the next album, "The Anthropocene Extinction", which finally convinced me.
I don't have every album in their roster (only having Harvest Floor onwards), but I certainly find their musical journey incredible, and I can't help but sing some of these songs to myself in all of their misanthropic glory. Truly, their music has become beautifully disgusting, and disgustingly beautiful.

That was pretty fucking good. Been a metal head for many years and cattle decapitation was not one I personally enjoyed it was always too droany smash your face in this was definitely a departure and in a really good way

really happy you guys reacted to these guys definitely one of my favorite bands, if I were to personally recommend a song of their’s it would be Solastalgia from the same album.
