    Amazing effort on everything you're doing, Chris. From doing all the fabrication work and fitting the turbo kit, to recording each segment, then editing a 25 minute video together. Takes a lot of time and effort. Great work ethic!

    Just use the intercooler end tank as a stressed member and tie it in to your top bumper bracket. If you are worried about leaving a small amount of flex you could use a little rose-jointed bar for the connection.

    Adding vertical webbing to the flat brackets and tab would help significantly to reduce the twist you're seeing.

      yeah I know that but there's nothing to attach them to where they won't get in the way of other things, that's the problem

    Brilliant video again. I’m sure you probably know about this already as you put me onto R tech in your last video, but would the cnc plasma cutter from r tech be a worthy purchase for your projects?

      I've looked at it a few times but just can't justify the price for what I'd use it for really. Maybe one day

    Build a simple shroud to make sure more airflow gets to the radiator during sick drifts?

      I usually end up measuring 5 times and cutting 10 times haha

    If you are making the end tanks why not put fixings directly onto them to tie them all in together?... while saying this I'm now thinking about front corner impacts so yeah, branching off to the crash bar sounds like a plan. Also maybe a couple of triangles either side of the tab holding the Centre pole to stop any flex, probably get away with just the one side.

    • @ChrisDrift
      @ChrisDrift  5 років тому +1

      yeah going to try add some kind of gusset to that small tab holding the centre pole but there's very little room for anything as its so small and so close to the pole

    Maybe instead of the one veriticle support From the bottom to the top you could do a "V"

      Unfortunately the over engineered oil cooler mounts that I made block you from doing anything other than a thin straight vertical tube lol
