Love the video, gonna do this upgrade on my 08 G37. One thing stood out to me and idk why but I would love to live somewhere like in the driving clip, the streets, the trees idk stood out to me.
I see you removed the factory lines that includes the pressure sensor , people have said if you remove that the power steering will be terrible and unpredictable, did you experience anything g like that ? Regards
According to Chase Bays, qll it does is slightly idle up the car when you turn while it is sitting still. It's more of a creature comfort than anything else and Chase Bays said they like to simplify anything they can.
It adds up pretty quickly if you've ever bought individual hoses and fittings to make your own lines! Good luck with the install on your Z if you decide to get it.
Yup! All it does is slightly idle up the car when you turn while it is sitting still. It's more of a creature comfort than anything else and Chase Bays said they like to simplify anything they can.
@@avengednick awesome. Thanks. I am looking at getting 350z and do like you are with a reliable fun drift car. Great videos, giving me lots of ideas. thank you
Hell yeah, do it dude! Selling my S14 project and buying this to drift and street drive was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I’ll be posting a video of the FDF Mantis Kit install/first time driving with it probably on Wednesday and you’ll see why I love this car.

Thanks for watching! And I definitely feel lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the US.

@@avengednick great !
@@avengednickTo bad they can't use the sensor I'm sure they can make a adapter for it or maybe make your own
Bro, its easier to riv nut the bash bar and mount them there but...
If it’s on the bash bar it’s likely to get hit in a front end collision, the placement shown here keeps it plenty protected behind the bash bar.
Seems like alot of money for just some hoses and fittings and a can .... But it does look good i should do this to my z soon 😊

Where can I get that bracket for the PS Cooler? I bought my kit with Chasebays and noticed the kit didn’t come with one.
I forget where I ordered it from specifically but if you search Setrab cooler bracket you should be able to find multiple places that stock it.
How many bottles of power steering fluid did it take to refill the system
If I’m remembering correctly it was between 3-4 quarts with the cooler
did you find out anything regarding the power steering sensor?

I saw you didn’t put Teflon tape on the fitting, is it not needed?
