Conor is trying to finish out his contract and move on, but Conor is a HUGE piece why ESPN is interested in the UFC. If he leaves before the deal is potentially renegotiated in 2025, it will be the beginning of the end for the UFC. They will continue stalling him out like they've done for years. Conor's team will wait until the UFC antitrust lawsuit is resolved (Trial starts in April), because that will be a huge boon in negotiation for fighters afterward if the UFC loses. They will never sniff another guy like Conor, their biggest stars will be hard pressed to ever reach 1mil+ PPV buys again. The same way Mike Tyson and Floyd own all the boxing PPV records, Conor will own it for decades. They had Conor, Ronda, Anderson, Jones, GSP, and Brock all around the same time, and they fumbled it with every single one of them retiring early, or not reaching their max commercial potential.

This excuse that Conor will never fight again because hes got too much money might have been a good point had he retired after the floyd fight but the guy has fought several times since. He also got in the pool and slimmed down. Why do that if hes truly done? Listen to the guy begging for a fight date at the Francis/Fury event. Dude was pissed. Also I dont think Conor has it in him to ride off into the sunset and retire. He loves attention too much and has a huge ego.
The way the UFC operates (as revealed in the lawsuit) I definetly can imagine them not letting Conor fight until he signs an extension. Conor would make 100m-300m per fight in boxing influencers and pros and after his contract is up the UFC couldn't cash in on that. Lets hope the lawsuit brings about changes like a fighters union and a cba like in the NBA
He's also the guy who, after getting dominated by Khabib, angled for that rematch for 3 years afterwards. When he was knocked out by Dustin it was straight into the 3rd fight. When he busted his foot the first thing he said was it wasn't over. The notion that Conor doesn't care/want to fight has always been ridiculous. I firmly believe that when Conor doesn't want to fight again he'll be the first to tell everyone.

Totally agree with you Ariel about volk. Volk is my absolute favourite fighter and immediately after that fight I just felt for him and his family, he needs time. He absolutely deserves a chance to reclaim his title but that should not be rushed. It can’t be after two consecutive knockouts. I hear you about looking after him, if ilia wants to go, let him. If Volk wants back in, ilia should take it, and I think he will.
He said it himself, “get in, get the good, get rich and get out”… he’s done it all and would have beat Chandler like he did Eddie at that time. Now with how long he’s been out, I’m not so sure…
Challengers nowadays have to beat the champion twice. I felt bad for Leon. It wasn't enough to train for Usman. You got to train for two victories now because every champion is so beloved and overhyped but they get to get an immediate rematch. Can we save rematches for split decisions and injuries.
Dana got so mad at that reporter..first saying "Conor has all the money in the world, he's rich" . Wouldn't it be easier to make a deal if he didn't need money?? Then he says "Conor is so easy to work with" which is it?!
Dana is actually a bad promoter now, he’s messing up his last chance to make 100s of millions with McGregor, also lost super fight of Francis v Jones and lost him to PFL/boxing and couldn’t get Khabib or GSP back again, I believe they would have came back for the right offer but Dana lowballed them. He’s actually a negative effect on the sport, many other people could do a better job.
Dana is not a bad promoter or business man. The fact you think he is, rather than just maybe you don't have enough info is hilarious. 26:00 it's a bad comparison to Lebron. MMA can take years off your life and cause CTE and in Conor's case, he risks re-breaking his leg. I don't see why he would come back to MMA. Maybe some exhibition boxing, but that's it.
It’s hard to like DDP when after he beats Rob he says he’s ready to fight Izzy but then suddenly can’t because of an injury and it’s too quick of a turnaround, and then after he beats Sean he says he’s ready to fight Izzy at 300 and then suddenly it’s too quick of a turn around yet again. I even remember him going as far as saying 300 would be perfect.
Just be honest with yourself Ariel. Women should not be fighting in the UFC. Once a year, we may get an exciting women’s fight, but they are always just a bathroom break on fight cards. Give them their own promotion and see how the numbers are.
Chandler is like the bride left stranded with wedding ring at the church. Gregor McConor is taking his time, and poor Chandler is willing to wait 10 years for the fight to happen.

God Ariel was in a rare form of obnoxious in the British trivia questions challenge... Just the bad singing and gloating in GC's face for not knowing something... I get it's a competition for the "most British" among them, but boy was Ariel extremely childish and rude!
His stock has gone down since he tried to break his foot off in poirier but lol. 😮oh snap. Crackle and pop but for connor to hold the composure he did in the middle of that without fully freaking out was amazing in itself. That's why everyone was freaked out. The man is as tough as they come but hes my age. Hes all busted up and broken. If hes not hes juiciness and sauces are what's keeping him from competing. I dont blame him with all that money why risk it. If I was him I'd ride off into the sunset with money stacks to the sky. Built a legacy and brand that will certainly help the McGregor from here on. Back in old times the McGregor and the duncan clan stood tall through it all with our backs against the wall if a tyrant who owned the world but not our lives. Revolt and rise again until lambs become lions. McGregor creed the motto tattooed on his chest literally means that he is royalty and the king. Manifesto his destiny that Irishman sure did. Well done ole boy. Channeling that anger into ambition is the key.
Easy UFC doesn’t want to pay Conor what he’s worth. Your average UFC fighter doesn’t make over 1 million a fight Conor is getting millions; it’s bad for business PPV revenue is controlled by ESPN.
These fighters are all too selfish. They could hold the UFC hostage to fairer contracts if they all came together, if they backed each other. But they’re short sighted and selfish. There’s been many opportunities to unionise but they never came together. The managers share some of that responsibility. The fighters are focused on fighting and the managers are looking out for their own interests. A perfect example was Francis, Izzy and Kamaru all claiming to be brothers having each others backs. They held 3 belts between them. If they publicly backed Francis and collectively negotiated, they could have made conditions better for everyone. Better contracts and a bigger piece of the pie.

@@paulcox2447he could be making 100s of millions with a fight deal with Conor but he isn’t because he always lowballs fighters, even if he gave Conor a massive bonus he would still be insanely profitable . Conor is a massive reason for the sale of the UFC for 4 billion
the ufc wouldnt have sold if dana didnt go along with the deal.
Really good take
26:00 it's a bad comparison to Lebron. MMA can take years off your life and cause CTE and in Conor's case, he risks re-breaking his leg. I don't see why he would come back to MMA. Maybe some exhibition boxing, but that's it.
Who cares about WWE 🤷♂️
Have no clue why they didnt save Alex for 301
It’s hard to like DDP when after he beats Rob he says he’s ready to fight Izzy but then suddenly can’t because of an injury and it’s too quick of a turnaround, and then after he beats Sean he says he’s ready to fight Izzy at 300 and then suddenly it’s too quick of a turn around yet again. I even remember him going as far as saying 300 would be perfect.
Ariel why don’t you talk about your people slaughtering kids in rafah
Ian Garry's views compared to Sean O'Malley makes me laugh
Top by is London not Brum
The ASG idea is brilliant
He's right about ariel and chael and ariel and DC working
Used to be Ariel’s biggest defender, he was the last journalist with some integrity until he started selling Prime. Shame on you Ariel.
I am 5’8 and ready for GC! It would be a great fight and let the best man win lol
Good show
Top Boy is London - not Brum 👍🏻
Just be honest with yourself Ariel. Women should not be fighting in the UFC. Once a year, we may get an exciting women’s fight, but they are always just a bathroom break on fight cards. Give them their own promotion and see how the numbers are.
Chandler is like the bride left stranded with wedding ring at the church. Gregor McConor is taking his time, and poor Chandler is willing to wait 10 years for the fight to happen.
Bring mma guru on
Pereira vs Aspinall for the interim Heavyweight Title for Brazil card if Pereira wins at 300
🤦♂️
Ariel talking that Chael and DC are good as the second guys showed his side of the "HEELwany" hahah
Free Palestine.
GC had a great response to the first question hahahaha
I would like Conor to react on that thing Dana said about that he has to much money bla bla.. Both of them telling the world different stories. Its very frustrating.
Is it just me or does it seem like Dana is not telling us something about him. Not even about pay or Conor being hungry but just something else
If women do less damage shouldn't they have more minutes or rounds than men, not less..?
My man I've watched you for years now... I've never seen you be more political then now. When we are seeing what we are seeing on a daily basis, and supported at that nationally. This isn't about you or a nationality. It's about the people being affected in the most inhumane ways. #FreePalestine #StopGenocide
Hearing these guys think it's pronounced "Leedl" and not "Lihdl" is absolutely killing me
Its so weird firet i thought it was usada stuff.. conor says he wants to fight. Dana is saying its impossible..who knows
They produced a show called the ultimate fighter remember? The deal with that show is the coaches fight at the end. Big money invested into that show. Conor did not fulfill his end of that deal. He demoted himself by being a scumbag.
Conner was demoted because he has won a fight THIS DECADE! Conner is a thing of the past. He’s nowhere near being a title challenger!
Ny Rick said UFC 300 sells 1 million buys no matter what.
I WILL NOT FORGET.
I think chandler is doing all this because he’s worried mcgregor will be given a different opponent
The dude is 4-3 in his last 7 let it go
⚕Med description of a being knocked unconscious ⚕Volk's brain steam was twisted and bent , causing his brain circuits to break lose their insulation and kink up and that's what shuts off electricity to the brain steam and his Dropped to The Floor . and that's what his fans want to see again - For a 3RD Time ?
Are you coming to training tonight Helwani?
52:00 its set in london you noob. -2 points for ariel
One of them is telling the truth, but we don't know who is. From what i can read/see (being a hardcore fan of the sport), Conor just don't want to fight and is playing all of us just to keep his name in the spotlight, I get it, but just kinda tired of the whole "Mac show". Let's just move on, there are alot of stars in the sport right now. All love ppl, cheers.
The UK trivia section was brutal.. so painful to watch
If this UFC/WWE 'Cross-pollination' becomes a thing, I'm out.
This comment section sucks rn lol... Just watch the show and then comment soemthing worth while. Damn
The Conor era is over
Arial lying on the thumbnails now😂😂😂😂
God Ariel was in a rare form of obnoxious in the British trivia questions challenge... Just the bad singing and gloating in GC's face for not knowing something... I get it's a competition for the "most British" among them, but boy was Ariel extremely childish and rude!
Love listening to u & have done for a long time , but ffs pull up on saying [ shout out ] plzzz
Dana is hosting Power Slap 7 on Friday before UFC 300 🤦♂️😂😰
40 year olds watching wwf get a life nerds
Have Charles fight for the belt if he gets past Arman
Ariel tell Connor it's time to shave the head mate come on 😂 he will look/feel alot better! Man up Connor
SEAN O MALLEY IS NOT SELLING PPV
34:30 FAKE!!! Interviewing him the same day
Better yet, why does everyone keep talking about a fighter that has not won a fight in years
These fighters are all too selfish.
You can't get too close - Ariel helwani
Arial doing Volk dirty
