They assumed TJ was down, that he was a loyal soldier but TJ is neither loyal or at many times a clean fighter. TJ is all about TJ and he doesn’t give a FOOK what he has to do to be #1!! Normally I like that in my villains but I love MMA and I respect that these warriors put it all on the line so being a “little snake In the grass” is not at all what I want out of my fighters as a fan picking who to cheer and who to boo but yeah, Conor saw the snake for what he was. The others did not because they thought highly and respected TJ thinking he had morals but he had little to no morals! A real sleazy type of guy! Even hurting sparring partners in the gym to absolutely respecting no-one unless it suited him and his career in furthering it! A real ass-hat you wouldn’t want to wear

The best part of that Conor vs. TJ interaction is so slick I think even most people in the room didn't get it. Conor says "Congratulations to you and your coach Duane on the win" and TJ, completely unaware of it, says "Appreciate it". Conor just looks to Urijah with a subtle smile in return. Dillashaw unconsciously confirms that Ludwig now, as a matter of fact, is his coach and not Faber.

The disrespect people give Conor kinda bothers me. I know he’s became kinda wild, he’s made mistakes for sure, and he tweets some really dumb shit. I’ll always remember the prime McGregor era, and how incredible it was. Kids today will never see another MMA fighter even come close to replicating what Conor was able to achieve. Double champ, 13 second KO to a man who hadn’t lost in 11 years (Aldo), went up a weight class & beat Eddie Alvarez with one of the greatest championship performances of all time, and he branded himself so well that he began making 10+ million per fight which is unheard of in MMA. The man changed the sport, and helped the sport grow on a scale that was never seen before. That is why Conor always gets my love & respect.
