Its here! As you can probably tell, this video took a LOT of work to make! I never beg for likes and comments, but they are very much appreciated on this video! And... if you can make it to Manchester, England, on Saturday 19th October, I'm doing my first ever LIVE one-man magic show called "The Honest Psychic" and tickets are on sale now! www.fatsoma.com/e/236eft01/honest-psychic
Who doesn’t love a bit of Marvin’s magic and if you didn’t have a Marvin’s magic set then you missed out. I had these and moved into the 2 executive sets for my collection. Great video.
The emotions I had through this whole video! From the fun I used to have with the lights, to the ABSOLUTE ANXIETY YOU GAVE ME during the pranks, but the best of all was doing the svengali deck, and genuinely the reason why the 3 of Clubs is my favourite card...
I really love this kind of videos , I never had any pros or gimmick as a kid and I never have one now , so watching this give me so hope . thanks Cavan
What a fantastic video. So glad you enjoyed the sets. Really nice seeing them all again. We had a lot of fun making them (part of my day job). As for the missing tin - it was a “special” only sold in Hamleys around 2012 - so it is rare. From memory it has Great British Coin Trick, Gem Paddles and Ring on Shoelace. There were also a few designs that didn’t get beyond the mock-up stage - but you never know. Thank you again for the video, All the best, Justin :-)
Loved the video my Brother. It’s not as easy to find any Marvin’s Magic kits here in the states. You can find them in a few bookstores or specialty stores. I have a couple of their small boxes tricks and they are so much better than beginner kits here in the USA. Thanks 🙏 for sharing.
I really enjoyed this video keep videos like this coming if possible these are pretty awesome 8 helps me find things that I don't know to search so I really appreciate it
For the loaded dice trick you should get your victim to roll the non-gimmicked die first, there is a 1 in 6 chance it will land on the 5 use a bit of magicians choice if it lands on 5 then you state that is their selection if it doesn't then you switch the die out for the loaded die
I used to work for Marvin’s based at Hamley’s in London. Don’t get me wrong, Marvin is a great guy and fantastic magician - President of the Magic Circle at the time of writing - but to say there are ‘50 Magic Tricks’ in 1 tin was a bit of a stretch! You’d be lucky to get 10 out of it!
I bought some in £, some in $ depending on where the best condition/cheapest sealed tin was being sold! $250 is an accurate estimate fully converted into $! Hope that makes sense
Why did you even have to justify yourself to him based on where or who you live with? - Even if you did live with your parents, whats it got to do with him lol next time just ignore mate 👍🏻@@CavanBooth1

Hey Cavan, what a great video, your enthusiasm is contagious. I had a few of those tricks growing up, the dynamic coins are fantastic.
They really are!

That is so awesome that you were involved!
Never had the marvins kits growing up but found a love of magic from random sets and now i collect each of the ones i see with a unique trick.
This is really amazing!!! I'm so happy you got to fulfill the dream of having them
Had the same childhood ambitions you did! And I worked for Marvin’s for a while!! And now I’m performing magic on a cruise ship professionally :)
Awesome!!
A great video. It made me remember the joy of opening a new magic kit as a kid! Many I still have.
You should make a video of the other modern magic kits as well so you can review both versions like the old vs modern magic
Trip down memory lane for sure

Brilliant video bud. Loved the nostalgia hit.
