      February 24, 1948, Declassified U.S. Foreign Policy:
Furthermore, we have about 50% of the world’s wealth but only 6.3% of its population. This disparity is particularly great as between ourselves and the peoples of Asia. In this situation, we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will permit us to maintain this position of disparity without positive detriment to our national security. ... that Japan and the Philippines will be found to be the corner-stones of such a Pacific security system and that if we can contrive to retain effective control over these areas there can be no serious threat to our security from the East within our time.
Taiwan was added to the Pacific security system after Chiang's army retreated to the island of Taiwan in 1949. South Korea was added after the Korean War in 1953. The attempt with Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia was abandoned in 1975.

China leads the US in the research of 37 out of 44 key technologies tracked by an Australian think tank, ASPI, Australian strategic research institute in 2023, ASPI is funded by Australian defense ministry and foreign governments including Embassy of Japan, US department of state, UK ministry of defense. covering a range of crucial technology fields spanning defence, space, robotics, energy, the environment, biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced materials and key quantum technology areas.1 The Critical Technology Tracker shows that, for some technologies, all of the world’s top 10 leading research institutions are based in China and are collectively generating nine times more high-impact research papers than the second-ranked country (most often the US). Notably, the Chinese Academy of Sciences ranks highly (and often first or second) across many of the 44 technologies included in the Critical Technology Tracker. We also see China’s efforts being bolstered through talent and knowledge import: one-fifth of its high-impact papers are being authored by researchers with postgraduate training in a Five-Eyes country.

The Western media is always negative about China, even if it's a positive story, the media in the west will find a negative angle to put on it and it's all driven primarily from the US.
America allocated $300 million a year for the next 5 years to produce negative press about China. So that's why we get so much negative press because it's driven from a government initiative and the media in the west are very eager to get as big a share as that $300 million a year as they can so they will continually pump out negative news about China.

US behaviour is a example like when they can't compete with you, they're gonna break your legs. This is what we call the Tonya Harding defense. She was afraid that her good friend would somehow beat her at the Olympics, so she got her boyfriend and another friend to go over and try to break her legs. This is exactly what the US is doing to China.
Another example like 2 athletes competing in the Olympic stadium. One side is not trying to acheive their best results, but always trying to trip the other side, even making them participate in the paralympic games. That is the serious deviation of the US's perception and positioning towards China, treating China as the most significant competitor and the most severe geopolitical challenge. The US claims to outcompete China, but not to seek conflict. In reality, the so-called competition of the US is an all-round containment and suppression that is a zero-sum game of life and death. The fact that there is an iron law of dual politics which says that whenever the world's number one emerging power which today is China is about to overtake the world's number one power which today is United States of America. The world's number one power always pushes down the world's number one emerging power. Now American problem is they lost industrial base, and they have nothing to trade except weapons and overprinted money. The problem with the US economy today is that they underestimated China.
In the United States of America, if any American politicians say "hey, China is going to become number one let's get ready for it" that politician will be dead and a suicidal to their political career.

The US often accuses other countries of using great power status, coercive policies and economic coercion to pressure other countries into submission and engage in coercive diplomacy. This is how the US projects its own poor track record onto others. The fact is, the US is the very origin of coercive diplomacy. It is the US and the US alone who owns the copyrights of coercive diplomacy.
Coercive diplomacy has now become an essential part of the US foreign policy toolbox. The US would resort to all kinds of political, economic, military, cultural or other types of measures as tools for coercive diplomacy to curb and bludgeon countries around the world for selfish interest. Victims to US coercive diplomacy are found across the world, with developing countries bearing the brunt of it.
By enacting the "CHIPS and Science Act", the US government forbids semiconductors companies that receive federal financial aid from making substantive expansion in China, forces allies into imposing export restrictions on China and seeks to split up global chips industrial and supply chains.
The US uses state power to suppress China's high-tech enterprises and even intimidates countries into not cooperating with Chinese 5G suppliers. Not even US allies have been spared from such ruthless coercion. Companies such as Toshiba from Japan, Siemens from Germany and Alstom from France, are all its victims.
If the G7 Summit is to discuss response to economic coercion, perhaps it should first discuss what the US has done to the other members of the group. The report issued by Xinhua News Agency contains abundant facts and data that reveal the deplorable US record of coercive diplomacy on the world. It shoes the world the hegemonic, domineering and bullying nature of US coercive diplomacy, and the serious damage it does to countries' independence and development, to regional stability and to world peace. The report is worth a good read.
China has no taste for coercion and bullying. China have always taken a clear-cut stand against hegemony, unilateralism and coercive diplomacy. G7 need to adapt to the prevailing trend of openness and inclusiveness in today' world and stop carrying out coercive diplomacy or building small, exclusive circles

Western capitalism has always relied on captive markets, either with a colonial empire or with neo-colonial indirect influence. The major empire up to the mid -Twentieth Century was that of the British. Colonies provided raw materials and then served as a captive market for British produced goods. This could be seen in Hong Kong, where even the drain covers were made in Sheffield, England. The US maintained its influence mostly in Latin America. It is ironic that the Global West is now crying so hard about China, when its corporations and companies offshored to China for profitability in low wages and to avoid environmental controls at home. This kick-started China on its rise to its present position. Now the Global West wants its corporations and companies to relocate, friendly-shoring I believe is the term. This will no doubt mean to countries where the Global West can better influence the government and economy.

All countries should be a Sovereign state.
A sovereign state is a state that has the highest authority over a territory.
International law defines sovereign states as having a permanent population, defined territory, a government not under another, and the capacity to interact with other sovereign states.
It is also commonly understood that a sovereign state is independent.

If you look at the past 2,000 years of world history, in 1,800 out of the past 2,000 years, the two largest economies of the world were always China and India. It's only in the past 200 years that Europe took off. And then North America took off. But the past 200 years of Western domination of world history have been an aberration. It's been abnormal. So what you're seeing in the 21 century is the end of the aberration and the return of the normal, where China, India, and other Asian countries are once again emerging as the largest economies in the world.
