What would the Perry brothers (& Wargames Foundry) figures look like if they were dedicated to 15mm?

- In this video you can see a very old 15 mm wargame figures.
It is a small tribute to the work of Michael & Alan Perry, and a complain that Wargames Foundry completely abandoned the 15 mm.
Looking to get my hands on some more of these figures, a few months ago I came across a couple of threads on The Miniatures Page forum from people who were also looking for them, and that got me thinking that a video about them might be interesting to a lot of people, those who had (or still have) them in hand, and fans of the Perry brothers' figures who may not know about these even smaller sculpts.
For years I cherished the idea of buying enough of them to complete an army with these figures. But the business around this hobby is very volatile; companies close, molds go bad, catalogs are renewed.... When you like some figures you have to catch them or you risk losing the opportunity. I hope this video will help those who enjoyed them to remember them and those who have never seen them can say they know them.
I would like if anyone has an army with them to let us know and show it to us!

A nice look at "primordial" miniatures that show your workmanship from the past. Many years ago I moved westward from USA's east coast leaving behind a couple armies with my wargame group there. It would be great to see them again after 35 years too!
How many experiences and memories miniatures provide us with! Greetings!
Amazing to see these miniatures from the attic ! The brothers Perry have done a great sculpting work with this tiny size . Great showcase !
Thank you!
I found it absolutely not surprising that Alan Perry got back to you. I've emailed him before, and a few of my friends have met him, and he struck me as just a kind and genuine person. I hope to meet him at a convention someday.
True, he has been very kind and I would also like to meet him.
This was a pleasure to watch. I never would have know of these miniatures. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed! Thank you for your feedback
They look amazing as always!👍🍻
Thank you very much, very kind!
Leave it to the Perry brothers to create so much character in 15mm. I love the noble in Italian armor (the first displayed piece) with his nose hanging over the rim of his helmet. Good luck. I really hope you can locate enough of these little gems to fill out the army you want. God only knows I can't wait to see them painted.
Absolutely, your end result must be shared!
I'd like that too!
Great video, lots of good memories.
Yes... I think I have a slightly nostalgic video! I'll have to paint something right away and create new good memories XDXD
Thanks for a wonderful trip down "memory lane". I wonder how these would match up with my Peter Pig armies. I had a handful of these catalogs and of course pored over them when the latest issue of Wargames Illustrated came out but was mainly a 28mm gamer back then.
I hear that Foundry is planning to bring them back into production sometime later this year, so maybe you can try how they look with your Peter Pig... Thanks for your comment!
Might be worth chasing Foundry again as I've heard from a couple of people they may have plans to produce them again later this year
I hope they are these figures and not a recast of their current 28mm line. Although the latter may also make a lot of people happy!
Agreed, enough of an inquiry could make a difference. Maybe?? It is Foundry after all. 😉
According to what they tell in The Miniatures Page forum seems that the Foundry employees themselves say so, although there is no date for it. Great news!!
Foundry are hoping to remaster the moulds and re-release the figures some time this year
Great! Awesome news
They look like a nice range
Very nice! Thank you for comment
Hope they re-release them, lovey figures
It is said that they are going to do it, I hope it is true!
Muy interesante.
Gracias!
