Wow - What an adventure this was! We really didn't know what to expect before coming to China but, oh boy we're glad we came and saw it with our own eyes (and tastebuds, haha). On our next trip to mainland China, where do you recommend us to visit? 🇨🇳
you can go to chengdu, leshan, kunming etc. Glad you have your first time here as I know another vlogger coming back 3 times 😂😂 places in dunhuang, xinjiang, xiamen, hainan, dalian, shenyang, harbin also worth visiting. Too many places to name, I haven't even been to many places as an overseas Chinese person.
It seems China is doing remarkably well, with its people appearing genuinely happy, which makes me wonder whether our Western democracy working at all. Here in Southeast England, many public park toilets are permanently closed due to lack of council funding which is a disgrace, although we pay a significant portion of our income for council tax. Road tax keeps rising every year, yet our roads are riddled with potholes, infrastructure is crumbling, and schools and hospitals remain outdated with inadequate facilities. It feels hypocritical when our government criticizes China for its policies without reflecting on its own shortcomings. Go China!!!

Thank you so much for taking us on your China adventure, I have loved every episode. You guys are my favourite travel vloggers. I have taken so many notes for our China trip that we hope to do next year. I can't wait!
Hi, I’ve been watching travel UA-camrs for a while now. Even though this documentary is 4 1/2 hours long and I’m only about two hours in. I have to say I am enjoying this so much. You guys really did a good job.
Haha, I saw the video of you being interviewed in China on Chinese tiktok. Very cute.I hope you will have the opportunity to travel to China again. There are still many places worth exploring and discovering.
Wow, you guys are great. This is the only video I have collected of foreigners looking at China. It is sincere and objective. China is not perfect, but it cannot be deliberately vilified by some Western media! Hope you have a happy journey!
China's natural scenery is magnificent and diverse, ranging from majestic mountains to picturesque water towns, all captivating the hearts of visitors.
Really, really love your video. It’s very long, and I have to watch it in sections, but I don’t feel bored at all. Because the excitement that you shows on your videos can reach us. We can feel the same excitement as you are.
I’d recommend visiting my hometown Nanjing if you ever travel to China again. Nanjing is a city rich in history, it has the country’s second largest museum. The city has also proudly held the title of China’s greenest city for an impressive 70 years😊
Fantastic blog as always guys. I’m currently researching and planning a trip to China next year, this is so helpful and a wonderful watch. Thanks and keep up the fantastic work 👏🏼😎
1:57:50 I'm chasing the most famous touching scene, here it is! You made us so emotional as well, it's really hidden gem in the ultra modern city. Shanghai is magic!
Thanks for composing and sharing this four hours vlog summary of your adventure in China. It's very informative and usefull. I'll tick it for my watch-later-list. Good job, well done.
hope you had a good trip. Came back from China a week ago and had an amazing time. Some of your advice (like Metroman app) was very useful and thank you. I will watch the whole video in the next days and reminisce my trip through your own eyes. I'm kinda impressed how you manage to record everyhting. Arriving late at night at a foreing Country, being so tired and still you put your camera on a tripod to record yourselves entering the hotel? ohh that's amazing. well done. I love photography and video, i'm doing quite a lot of it but still, i would never be able to do what you are doing.
i was born and bred in shanghai... Growing up in 80s and 90s, I witnessed my own eyes all the changes in this city... I just remember the days I strolled at the Bund with my girl friend when I was 16 years old, the people masse during on the national day sitting on my dad's shoulder when i was little... so many memories are flocking in.... thank you...
Fantastic, binge watch your Chinese adventure as I travel today so perfect timing haha😂😅. It was a fantastic series look forward to seeing what’s next. Safe and enjoyable travels 😎👍
Guangzhou welcomes you! Welcome to try Cantonese cuisine and dim sum! Xiaomanyao (Canton Tower), the beautiful Pearl River welcomes you! Guangzhou is only an hour's drive from Shenzhen. It is recommended that you take the train from Shenzhen Luohu Railway Station to Guangzhou East Railway Station and stay at a hotel near Guangzhou East Railway Station, which is convenient for you to visit Guangzhou Tianhe District. You can also take the train from Guangzhou East Railway Station. Take Metro Line 1 directly to the ancient city of Guangzhou, Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Shamian, Liwan Lake Park, Yongqingfang, and learn about Guangzhou’s ancient historical architecture.
Your video reminds me of 25 years ago when I came to the Europe for the first time of my life, from China, the same curiosity, eye opening and shocking….
I really love watching your videos especially in China, I was in Guangzhou, Zhuhai, and other cities in southern China in the first week of November and I really had a great time. I love Chinese foods, I love how they maintain the trees even though there are many buildings or I mean how progressive they are but maintaining the trees just really amazed me. I love to go to China more in the future especially the place called Zhangjiajie where the avatar mountain, the place is unbelievable 🥰🥰🥰. I love how you give all the things/details based on your experience in where you are. More power to your channel, I would love to do vlog as well and I want a partner too so I would not speak alone hahaha. Love from the Philippines ✨.
Among all the couple China travel UA-cam videos, your guy’s are the one of the best in terms of content, editing and mostly your sincereness and beautiful smile, seeing is believing, thank you again for showing real China to the world ❤
The entire journey is lovely to watch! Now that the 'introdutory' trip is over, you are always welcome to take a second around into the deeper areas of our gigantic country!
BTW, every station has elevators. Sometimes they are not in service. I just ask the station attendant to have it on for me since I have several large suitcases.
Maybe travel along the Silk Road, starting from XI AN, then Lanzhou , Dun Huang, Xining, La sa, then you can take flight go back to mega city. Don't worry, there are bullet trains as well. You will experience something entirely different from what you have visited here. Landscape, culture, people, food. It is like you entered a new space of China.
Hopefully you can tell how special the life is in China. It's unique, lively and convient although the huge population makes everywhere so busy.... I wish you can visit China again very soon. I really enjoy your video which show some aspect of China that I've never know as a Chinese.
Thank you for dispelling some awful myths about visiting China. It's because of awesome people like you that we can get a much more realistic view of places like China. It is now on my bucket list. All the best to both of you 🙂
"I really enjoy your videos and hope you can visit China again. I recommend visiting Hangzhou, Yunnan, and Chengdu next time. If you come in winter, you should definitely go to Harbin to see the ice sculptures!"

China has opened up 144 hours of visa-free transit, which is equivalent to 6 days of traveling in China. Go to a Chinese mobile phone to install ALIPAY+ and bind a bank card, and a VPN must be installed on the mobile phone. If you like China and want to travel in China for a long time, you can apply for a 3-month visa at the Thai embassy.
