    • @smilewitheddy
      @smilewitheddy 18 днів тому +22

      @ Taiwan has own currency, President, democratic voting system and military forces. It’s different from China though they share many similarities. It’s like Canada was thought to be a province of the United States but the fact is both are two different countries

    • @LuckyM-l2u
      @LuckyM-l2u 18 днів тому +2

      @@smilewitheddy The fact that Taiwan has unresolved historical issues with mainland China does not mean that it is a country. After World War II, the Cairo Declaration clearly stated that Japan would return the stolen Taiwanese territory to China, and that the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate government in China. Do you admit this? Does the Taiwanese government have a seat in the United Nations?

    I know Taiwan night markets are top recommendations in tour guide, but as a Taiwanese, I would also recommend you guys to have some typical Taiwanese (or maybe a little Chinese )food at diners. In recent years, we start to have more and more healthy vegan food places as well. Well, to be honest 95% of Taiwanese people don't eat at night markets. For people living near night markets maybe sometimes they do. 😅😊😊
    FOR example , Taiwan fried pork chop rice meal, chicken rice meal, brised pork rice, fried rice
    ........are recommended. 😊😊

    FYI, with Taiwanese high speed rail trains, you can always buy the "non-reseved" seat tickets on the spot, and it can be used anytime that day, including just before the train leaves. They don't sell out.
    The only risk is, it's "first come, first claimed" seating so if it's filled up you might not be able to get multiple seats together, or you might end up standing if there are no seats, but that's allowed. Three of the twelve cars on the train are always for non-reserved seats.
    If you're taking the train off hours then, you can usually find multiple seats together in the non-reserved cars. Or standing isn't bad, because the journey isn't that long and it's smooth. There are luggage racks overhead the full length of the cars too. Great system!

    If you are in Taiwan at the winter time, try the hot pot, the ginger duck, the stir fry restaurant, the Weng Yao Chicken/urn chicken, the Chinese herb cuisine…. so many different things.
    In the east, take a hot spring, it’s so nice.
    Ask people where you could have your hair shampoo and massage, for example, this service at the chain hair salon Xiao Lin costs only 250NTD

    the way you play those claw games is to intentionally grab it on the side so that when the claw lets go, your item bounces into the collector. don't try to grab it straight on thinking the claw will drop it directly into the collector.

    Roadside claw machine shops usually have a very low chance of success. It is recommended that you look for a large claw machine shop with dedicated staff. The chance of success will be very high. You can even ask the staff to help you place it in an easier position. I hope you are in Taiwan. have fun😄

This is supposed to be a wholesome and fun content but these ignorant commenters are making it into something else. Love you guys and you both look great and healthy but the amount of sugar (including carbs) you consume in food and drinks is frightening. Your blood glucose levels are impacting the health of your arteries.

      Don’t worry - we don’t eat like this ‘off camera’ 😂. We use the filming days as our treats which is only a few days of the month. Plus we are running 3-4 times a week and having health checks regularly 🙌

      Taiwan is part of China, china that is part of republic of china, which has a longer history than the CCP. So yes indeed, welcome to ROC. Please leave politics out of this… Jokes aside, I love Taiwan, the food, people, and scenery is amazing! As a Chinese of south China descent, it is really enjoyable in a reliable way. Had the opportunity to explore chongqing. While it’s an amazing city, it still feels foreign. China is huge after all.

I do not think Taiwan currently belongs to the People's Republic of China, it is a disputed region with an independent government and sovereignty. But anyone who denies that Taiwanese are Chinese is ignorant.
