    That transition to the last memory is still cool as fuck. It's really cool how much fusion added to the whole chozo and metroid mythos in a way that didn't feel dumb.

    I saw this comment (from the user Zaku Guriin) on the Metroid Dread trailer (in the Gamespot channel):
    "I love being right. Years ago when Metroid 2 remake came out there was a cryptic message after the final art in the game is unlocked that said M5D and the D was colored red. I remember telling all my friends that this was them teasing Metroid 5 Dread and nobody believed me."
    Is this true or is the trolling?

      I think they got it confused, the message as you can see in my video that was captured directly from a real copy of "Metroid: Samus Returns" game on a real 3DS hardware without any type of Emulation and it's not from any type of Rom that could have been manipulated. So if you take a closer look at the bottom left corner window area, that area is my touch screen for the 3DS, and it shows the text that pops up as I unlocked the final art work when I was streaming this game live on Twitch for the very first time.
      That text that pops up clearly states 2d in red not M5D with the D being red. Either that person played a Rom Hacked version of "Metroid: Samus Returns" or they miss remembered what the actual text was 🤔
      However to add Metroid Dread's development apparently was started 15 years back as the "Metroid Dread - Development History" video mentions from Yoshio Sakamoto that they were unable to finish the project several times through out the years. It wasn't until the developers of "Metroid: Samus Returns" which was developed by "Mercury Steam Entertainment" which were also the ones in charge of the Castlevania games was able to prove to Nintendo and prove to Yoshio Sakamoto that they had the ability to tackle the Metroid Dread project after they delivered "Metroid: Samus Returns" for the 3DS.
      If anything I think that user has possibly mixed up there memories with Metroid Prime 3 Corruption. As in that game there was an area you can scan that reads "Experiment results unsuccessful. All attempts at using Metroids as a weapon power source have failed." and than the next scan states "Experiment status report update. Metroid project "Dread" is nearing the final stages of completion." But that easter egg was found 14 years ago and it existed 10 years prior to "Metroid: Samus Returns" official release date.

      @@Tryflozn I still thin it was an intentional tease here

      @@Tryflozn Thank you for clarifying it!

    • @Tryflozn

      @@BigBoy257 Pretty sure it's intentional too. As I'm sure the "2d" stands for the next 2D type metroid game other then Metroid Prime which would be First Person. If anything Mercury Steam Entertainment knew that they were going to make another 2D metroid game, they probably wasn't sure which 2D metroid game Nintendo was going allow them to make next, as before, they originally wanted to created a Fusion remake but Nintendo instead made them create a Metroid II remake.
      This leads me to believe that If Metroid Dread wasn't there next project, then it would have most likely been a Fusion remake, hence why they didn't use "MD5" and instead used "2d" as there tease because I'm 100% sure even Mercury Steam Entertainment did not know which 2D metroid game they were going to develop next.

    I wonder if that last Chozo is a X Parasite Chozo with some sort of Metroid Resistance?

    • @Tryflozn
      @Tryflozn  3 роки тому +6

      It's possible that the X parasite has taken over one of the Chozos and if that X parasite has the memory of the Chozo that they replicated as well as the Metroid's creation information ontop of that, it is very possible that the X Parasite was able to engineer some sort of immunity against a bio weapon that was created to destroy them in the first place. 🤔

    Maybe the Space Pirates are actually these rebel chozo.

    • @Tryflozn
      @Tryflozn  6 років тому +4

      That's a cool theory that the rebel Chozo's could have been part of the space pirate faction, but that theory doesn't add up since we haven't encountered those rebels yet. Meaning the faction their part of is definitely one we have yet to see. They were able to stay under the Earth Federation's radar this entire time as well as Samus is unaware of there existence all the way up to Metroid Fusion. (Which Fusion is the game that is furthest in the Metroid Timeline.)
      This is the 1st time that even we the players found out that the Chozo's can be rebellious. As the lore of the Chozo's as far as we the players knew up until the remake of Metroid II (Which is Samus Returns for the 3DS) the Chozo is and has always been a peaceful race.
