Anyone looking for those bits...you'll need to do a Google for "Rotabroach". Took a while to figure out. Several companies make variants. This is going to be the best addition to my toolbox in many years! Teraflex rock.
At the 05:00 min mark, Dennis’ snide humor resulted in my purchasing a rotobit annual cutter . I have appreciated it many times since then , just as I have the sliders which I’ve abused for over 5-6 years on my JKU. They get an unfair knock and are a very underrated slider if your weight conscious. Extruded aluminum is freakin very strong.
These sliders are great...they have held up to all any rock garden.big ledge has thrown at mine, and they have even totalled a Nissan Versa that thought it a good idea to T-bone me.
Hey Teraflex guys, I'm about to install my Rock Sliders and found your video hugely helpful. However when I went to buy a roto-bit (because if Dennis has one... clearly I need one...) no one at Lowe's or Advanced Auto Parts, or Ace Hardware had any idea what I was talking about. I even showed them the video on my phone and they still had no idea where to get one... I tried looking online as well and came up with a bunch of useless crap. Could you recommend a place where I can get one? Thanks! CJ
These sliders are not for show, they work very well. However like all products, there are limits. If someone want to drive more aggressive, such as bouncing their JK alot on the rock, then they should consider a slider that is attached to the frame. These are more of a medium duty rock slider.
Thank you for being honest. That was my biggest worry, along with the aluminum construction. I’d like to see TeraFlex make a steel slider that attaches to the frame. I love the look, but want more protection..

How come no JK rock sliders actually attach to the frame??
+Michael Kirst Poison Spider makes some
Rockhard 4x4 rock sliders attach to body bolts and tapper up to the side of the jeep.
I wouldn’t buy any that don’t. Rock Hard makes some that do
I'd want something more than paint pen in those holes! They will rust.
Did he say “ aluminum sliders “. Yeah... good luck with that.
please use safety glasses when drilling overhead... you don't want what happened to me to happen to you.
