Within Atton's mind there is.... Pazaak, Pazaak... More Pazaak... Thoughts of the Exile naked in sexually explicit positions... More Pazaak... EVEN MORE PAZAAK... And finally his dark super duper secret murderous past that eats him up inside.
He was taught by Revan to shield his thoughts from Jedi and other Force-sensitives, but once faced with Revan's first and last Master who sifted through his head, he stood no chance.
He used his emotions to shield himself from the influence of The Force, and among those feelings were those of lust. No joke, I don't think you're far off the mark at all.

The most brilliant part about this scene (in my opinion) is that the only thing it reveals about Atton is that he has a backstory that he doesn't want the exile to know about. It doesn't say what the backstory is, the player has to dig deeper and find out themself. This scene just sparks the players curiosity into further investigating Atton's past
What's great about this moment is that this was an organic discovery that began with real-time conversation. Kreia didn't sense anything until she started digging, and she didn't start digging until Atton verbally expressed his discomfort with being in "a nest of Jedi". Here we see her putting one of her own lessons about using regular skills to make your Force Powers more potent, this being active listening in conversation to increase the power of Jedi mind reading/Drain knowledge
Indeed. She's easily the most complex character in Star Wars history. Judging by the path the new films appear to be taking, she's also one of the most important characters.
I know this is foreshadowing Atton's career as a Sith Assassin, but I can't help but wonder how much Kreia had to dig past Atton's mental pazaak solitaire and perversions towards Meetra. And the cage gag. He's gotta be claustrophobic by now.
Kreia casually mind-tricks Mical, who by that point is almost definitely a Force-wielder. And not even like a small mind-trick, like she scrubs her existence from his mind on a constant basis. Kreia's power level is unbelievable. I legitimately think a TV series covering the events of KOTOR 2 would be fkn insane. S1 could be Peragus-Telos, S2-5 can cover the events on the various planets and expand upon them, S6 would be the return to Dantooine and the endgame sequences.
The greatest stories are a person's heart in conflict with itself and this game has plenty of that. It's the main theme and why IMO it is the second KotOR by release date only. Kriea even spells it out for us in a dialogue.
Why is Atton a murderer? (I do know Atton's back story) So why is he the more despicable murderer than Kreia, Exile or Revan. What was in Killing that Jedi that made Atton THE MURDERER.
I would say premeditation. And he hunted down, tortured, and killed Jedi because he was good at it and because he enjoyed it. But more importantly, Kreia calls him a murderer because she knows that that is what he thinks of himself. The same as when Bao-Dur tries to make Kreia leave. She haunts him with his guilt of constructing the mas shadow generator.

I barely recall it, but I'm pretty sure Atton fell in love with one of his jedi victims, only to kill her anyway. This made him hate himself and think of himself as a murderer. Kreia, being the master manipulator that she is, uses that guilt against him.

Pure Pazaak
There is the Jedi Code, the Sith Code and then there is the Pazaak Code.
Pure Pazaak
Impure Pazaak
It says a lot about the writing of her character that you can watch Kreia mind-rape one of your character's friends, and still think she's awesome.
I wonder how many of Atton's dirty lewd thoughts Kreia had to sift through before she finally reached the truth?

How many times was he put in a cell anyway? 🤔
