I just got done visiting some of my family on the Navajo Reservation for a couple nights (that is 3 hours away from where I currently live) and something like this would be perfect for visits like I just did, which include many miles of remote dirt roads that see little maintenance.
Impressive as it is convincing! I love the walkthroughs of the CAD screen showing the drawings and the build out step by step. Impressive close ups, chill/clear commentary/explanations, and awesome relationship in action. Y’all rock! On a final note, I would draw a parallel to using open source software. I am certain this approach will gain feedback and iteration that will result in higher reliability, higher function, and put a lot of value on final product.
I also received an email that I was the winner of the giveaway, but i also saw a post that the winner is announced on 25-dec. I guess there is some glitch and/or learning going on. No worries, stuff happens. Just glad to be part of this!
Absolutely perfect design. I was 1 week away from completing my first teardrop for my wife and girls to use as our getaway pod…and then our house burned down and got the camper too. We are putting pieces of our lives back together but building another teardrop had to move down the list of priorities. Winning a giveaway like this would be incredible and give us the chance to get outdoors again where we find peace and tranquility. Awesome ideas guys.
Never built anything in my life - would love to try this ! I have wanted to take my Jeep and have a small teardrop to travel out west in Utah and Montana . My dream trip , no hotels just outdoors living .
So I just bought my first new truck. My dream has been to buy, or build a trailer like this. I love how open you guys are about building one, and not just selling your product. If I were to have one I would use it to go to Yellowstone, or even down to the Oregon coast.
I'd take it pretty much everywhere I go. I live in Alabama and love to hunt, fish, camp, and scuba dive. I see it making frequent trips to the Alabama and Florida coast as well as lots of Florida fresh water inland springs for Scuba adventures, because hotels get waaayyyyy too expensive to stay in all the time and I'm too old for a tent and sleeping bag. It would also visit many state parks and Rock Climbing sites around the Southeast, as my oldest daughter loves Rock Climbing and I thoroughly enjoy seeing her happy!! Love your builds!!
been inspired for so long watching you and your wife make teardrops!! PLEASSEEE SEEE THISSS I WOULD LOVEEE TO WIN ONEEEEE SEEING I DONT HAVE THE BUDGET TO MAKE ONE!!!
I’m so excited about this camper !!! I can’t wait to watch every step of the building process and to see the final product come together !!! Thank you all so much for doing this.
First off, thank you for doing this! I will be heading out of state 1st of the yr and have been looking into every possible way to lessen the cost of working out of state while sending money back to my family to pay the bills. This would help me so much by not having to rent, use a long stay hotel, or come up with the means to build this myself. Win or not, someone will be blessed. Thanks again for this opportunity!
I love the passion and amount of effort you both put back into the DIY camper community. I would love to build my own one day and your channel and website have been an excellent starting point. Who knows if I'll ever get a chance to own one but I can always live vicariously through your channel!
You guys are such an inspiration!! You’ve given my wife and I the motivation we need to start our dream of having a small camper like this to pull on our jeep!
This is really awesome! It was cool seeing you all out at Everything Outdoors Festival! Thanks for offering something so cool and doing all the work to make it incredible.
The wife & I LOVE camping & just enjoying the great outdoors! We’re considering a teardrop to add a bit more convenience & comfort to our trips. We built a boat a few years ago, so I think we’re capable of taking on a project like this. Looking forward to the series ya’ll!!
Absolutely love this DIY camper build series! The Rambler design looks both rugged and practical, perfect for off-road adventures without breaking the bank. The step-by-step guide is super helpful, especially the SketchUp tutorial and assembly process on the Ironton trailer frame. It’s inspiring to see a project like this come together on a budget under $5K! Thanks for the in-depth breakdown, and fingers crossed for the giveaway - this camper would be a dream to own! Keep up the awesome work!
Your design is one of the few that checks just about every single box. I have been considering one for the longest time to force myself out of the house and get back into my actual favorite hobby.
Love the more budget friendly option! This would be perfect to start getting our newborn to fall in love with the outdoors! Literally in the NE GA mountains right now wishing I had one of these guys!
Love the new looking design and budget friendly build! Just recently tent camped in Yellowstone and I would’ve loved to bring something like this with me there!!
I came across this page while researching building a proper floor for a camper project I'd like to start with my son when I get home. Thank you for the giveaway offer, and I'm gonna check out the rest of your videos to see if I can learn more information. Good luck, everyone!
It would be a good addition to show the completed camper and maybe a compare and contrast between this and your other campers. Having a camper like this would be dandy because it would be a great place to store the equipment so that you can just go when you have some time.
Love the detail you're providing in these videos. This will help a give lot of folks the confidence to actually start building their own teardrop/squaredrop.
so sweet! i’ve been watching your videos for years now. fell in love with your simple and functional design. so, i bought your diy plans so i could build one so me and my mom can travel but have no time to do it because i’m taking care of her. looking forward to the future videos and thank you for doing this. god bless.
Great job guys, it was great to speak to you guys over the weekend at the everything outdoor fest in SC. I like how I can drive to the factory to collect this rather than having to go halfway across the country.
Thanks for making these videos. Its so awesome that you guys can give a free one to the community. Me and my brother are planing to live in a teardrop for a while, we plan on traveling the US in it all while putting out our own videos.
Love the fact that you both want to create an affordable camper so that anyone can get out and enjoy nature . This camper would be a great way for those who can't sleep on the ground anymore. Thanks for the opportunity to win .
Teardrop campers are so cool. I bought plans to build one, but I don't know if I will get it built. I like that they are more manageable and don't need a $70,000 truck to pull. I also like that they are small enough that you have to go outside while camping.
This camper is going to be awesome and winning it would be life changing! As a wheelchair user who loves to camp with my 4 year old daughter, i've been dreaming of a teardrop camper that would make setting up camp so much easier for me! Love your channel and think it's so great you're doing this give away!
Thank you for sharing the series. I have been doing a lot of research although I don't have much disposable income to start yet but at least I can start piece by piece
We have dogs so a roof top doesn’t make sense. I have been telling the wife for years we need one of these to make it easier to go camping. Any of your campers would be great!
Love the designs that you guys come up with! My wife and I love watching your videos - And dream of building our own. I am a high school social studies teacher and my wife does social work/counseling in Charleston, SC. If we aren’t spending time with family, we are probably exploring somewhere new, fishing, or camping! We love being outside. We would love to take this to our favorite spot in Table Rock, SC. DREAM. Appreciate the work that you guys do and the videos that you create! Cheers!
I've liked the square drops' designs better, given ease of straight lines, and preserving space and headroom. Recent retired, be terrific touring country and easier to in and out without a ton of setup. And, my minivan can tow. My Boston dogs and I would love
Love it!! I love the step by step approach for those of us with no experience with small trailers or camper builds....thanks! (you do make it look so easy!, also, LOVE your shop!!)
I have built two camper vans basically using the “university of UA-cam”. Now I’m ready to downsize and start a new challenge building one of these. Thank you for the very clear instructions and actually giving reasons for alterations!

This camper is great. We're looking at getting/making one ourselves someday which would allow us to extend our camping season up here in the PNW.
Love seeing people help others get outdoors and enjoy life unplugged!!
I keep seeing Wander Tears recommended in the small camper community and it looks great! Excited to see this build and what else you do in the future!
Impressive as it is convincing! I love the walkthroughs of the CAD screen showing the drawings and the build out step by step. Love to see your dynamic as you build cool stuff together. Long time follower. Would love to have a teardrop to travel with my wife and the pup.
Never built anything in my life - would love to try this ! I have wanted to take my Jeep and have a small teardrop to travel out west in Utah and Montana . My dream trip , no hotels just outdoors living .
It's a great feeling to build something with your own hands and then use it to see new places!
I have wanted to build one of these for a long time, will be looking forward to future videos!

Buying ensures quality craftsmanship, but building one is an amazing experience.

Love this squaredrop design. This will be a very helpful resource for a lot of people. I'm Looking forward to the rest of the series. Thank you!

This is really awesome! It was cool seeing you all out at Everything Outdoors Festival! Thanks for offering something so cool and doing all the work to make it incredible.
Absolutely loving this design! Well done! Gives us so many options for extended camping trips.

Nice! Would like to see/option idea would be a "spring over option" to lift the trailer some.
This is Awesome I would take it up and down the coast of PCH and out to when I run Marathons out of town!

We'd love to take this on the road & live in as we travel! There's nothing like your campers - so beautifully built with such intention!
This may be my go to trailer. I’ve wanted to build one for so long and take it to any mountain sides.
Was following your Vaga tear drop videos and got real excited seeing you guys were doing a Rambler build series. Thanks for all the works you both do!
Very enthusiastic but unskilled! This design seems ideal for a first project!
Like the rambler a lot!
Simple, rugged, lightweight….perfect for me and my dog!
I kinda want to make one!
It’s an incredible project and you can most definitely make it happen.
Your design is one of the few that checks just about every single box. I have been considering one for the longest time to force myself out of the house and get back into my actual favorite hobby.
We would go camping so much more if we had an adorable little camper like this one! ❤️
Excited for the simpler lighter trailer!

Thank you for sharing the series. I have been doing a lot of research although I don't have much disposable income to start yet but at least I can start piece by piece
There's a lot to like in this design. I do wish there was a little more depth in the galley but I understand why that couldn't happen
Saw y’all at the Everything Outdoors fest in SC two years ago and loved the designs, even cooler in person!
I'm pumped for this awesome build guys!!
This is awesome! I really like watching how you guys simplify things for even the average diy job.

Thanks for showing the Ironton frame! Been interested in how to make the cheaper trailers perform (especially at high speeds)
Looks awesome!
I like the design. It would be perfect for NW summer camping.
Looking forward to the rest of the build. Building one of these is a "bucket list" item for me
I've liked the square drops' designs better, given ease of straight lines, and preserving space and headroom. Recent retired, be terrific touring country and easier to in and out without a ton of setup. And, my minivan can tow. My Boston dogs and I would love

Looks like a great way to get into the DIY Camper world!

Love it!! I love the step by step approach for those of us with no experience with small trailers or camper builds....thanks! (you do make it look so easy!, also, LOVE your shop!!)
Really enjoy watching all your construction videos.
I have built two camper vans basically using the “university of UA-cam”. Now I’m ready to downsize and start a new challenge building one of these. Thank you for the very clear instructions and actually giving reasons for alterations!
I love the designs! I need this so badly! I am disabled and need to have something to be more independent. This is it!
These are incredible! Love the square style!
I love the design! I can't wait to build mine in a couple years.
That Cost Worksheet is awesome. Curious to see how you fit the 48"x40" FC15 rear door on a 48" wide squaredrop; can't wait.
Great instruction on starting a camper.
I've been following you guys for a while and love your camper builds, amazing work!
