You definitely sprayed medium bronze. That car is Champaign.
i think you got the wrong factory color. you put bronze on a champagne car

You chose the wrong color. The car is champagne, not bronze dude. Go online every color used for corvette in 1985 will be listed, check it out. Did you go by vehicles paint code located in the console lid. upper?
There was definitely a mixup on the paint. We finally got it sorted though. Thanks!
If the edge is chipping back, then you need to use a razor blade. You could have sanded it off, it just takes a while. That’s why body shops charge what they do. The glaze wasn’t necessary.

I would leave it like that. Gives it a distinctive look in my opinion and it looks good.
I have the same Vette in metallic blue and will be spraying the whole car once I finish some body work I am doing on it.
Post a video of your blue C4 when it's done.
Yes that's a real bummer I got to do mine and it's red I don't know match the paint red in my case add a little white to it cuz mine's a 1990 Corvette that's the only thing bad on it the paint job is good on my car except for that that's a bummer

We gave them the correct paint code. They clearly mixed it incorrectly.

I think you did a good job on it. The color is no where close. Didn’t see a close up of the finish/surface. Now you just have to do each panel until it’s all the same 🤔😏 not a fail, definitely not an epic fail.

sorry it looks worst, what i would do is return it to the paint to the shop and tell them it don't match, and bring your gas tank filler cover and tell them to match that

I took my 1985 corvette to MAACO and they did a really good job for $599 and they fixed my window that wasn’t working. Treat yourself to a MAACO paint job. Or go see a real auto body place.
