- PAA is always working on new great smelling scents. This latest scent is Rabbit Fighter. With a reference to the T-Rex song of the same name, this one has some really nice scent notes to it.
To be released this coming weekend, it is sure to be a hit.
Scent Profile: Vetiver Haiti, Cypress, Patchouli, Tonka Bean, Musk & A Kiss of Ozone.
Spicy, Musky Metallic, Camphorous, Herbaceous, Green & Glittery, Woody, Earthy and Brash!
In the old days, before artisan soap makers you were limited to the usual Old Spice, English Leather, Brut, etc. now you can stand out among the crowds with these unique scents. This one is definitely worthy to be in your collection. I tried a bit this morning and hours later it still smelled as if I just put it on, definitely long lasting.

Yours was one of the first if not the first channels I watched when I got back into DE shaving 4 years ago. I think the video was the one where you were doing a shave using inexpensive products. I've always enjoyed your honesty and brevity. I have never sensed any bias towards one product over another. I would trust you even if you had a sponsor. Just keep doing what you're doing!

Great shave. I typically do three passes, first WTG, second XTG, and third ATG with cleanup passes afterwards. My hair is coarse, so I have lots of work to do in those passes to get a clean smooth finish. You do you and do what works for your hair/skin type and do what’s comfortable for you. Have a good one!

Back when I had horses, I was considering mounted cowboy shooting. I felt one of my horses was good enough to compete and it looked like a bunch of fun. Decided it required more dedication $$$ than I wanted to make. When you get a chance check some videos on that one. It uses .45 cal blanks in single action iron. The blanks are charged with black powder that produces a consistent hot ember spray pattern that will break balloons at closer ranges.

Great video Ken! Ive always loved PAAs tub art. Cowboy action shooting sounds like a fun hobby to get back into. My first rifle my father got me was a Henry .22 so I see the appeal! I had contemplated 3 gun competition a few years ago but decided it would be too expensive.

One thing I like to do is after the last shave (up, down, across) I like to put the last amount of shave soap from the shave brush to kind of a last face cleaner. I then use the face cloth that I use with a hot water face wrap to finish off before putting on the alum block. Then a cold water splash before the after shave.

I’d love to get some PAA gear. I like using my 34G too. I think it was the 2nd razor I bought. We have western (single action) shooting in Australia too. I know a few people that get into it.

I get to borrow the expensive razors, it often I have to return them. I do get a chance to try the soaps and aftershaves in advance usually which is really cool. When we have meetups I bring them in to give away on the “pay it forward” table.

shave gear is so personal and arbitrary. what blades a razors work for me may not work well for you, and vice versa. the same can be said for scents and soaps. By the way i had the same experience with BIC blades
