Hey Legend, if you're going back to the classics, have you ever thought of doing a Europa Barborum campaign as one of the weaker factions, like the Sabyn?
Persia is best but playing as Macedonia is fun

StillRooney they never fixed the destroy building sound in Medieval 2 either, it's so fucking loud no matter what you do

Persia's military is more overbloated than Prussia
I would love to see TW make another Alexander game. Or at least an Iron Age centered game. Except actually allow you to play as the Achaemenids or one of the other countless people’s involved in Alexander’s invasion.
TW could separate the map into 3 regions, Greece proper, the Aegean/Anatolia&levant, and the central/eastern Persian territories.
Emphasize the importance of diplomacy, trade, and logistics and you could have a very interesting base game.
I’d imagine playing as a Spartan/Persian/Greek mercenary alliance against Alexander’s invasion would be a blast too.

Could you do a LP as one of the barb factions in this, like the Thracians or Illyrians?
I like this campaign because is the exact opposite of the Last Roman one. Here you mantain what you have and administrate your economy instead of going full conquest rampage. Love the video.

You can press Ctrl+M to select all missiles, Ctrl+C to select cavalry and Ctrl+i to select all infantry units. Just to make re-arranging easier.
No Ctrl+c selects all units
I loved rome but they really messed up on rome 2. It was a shame.

well this so easy campaign - i think it will end in less than 15 episodes.By the end of episode 1 Macedon militarily is broken.... why dont you play as the Macedonians?

I remember i did a Persia campaign one time and actually managed to kill Parmenion and push into Greece but Alexander fuckin died fighting the Illyrians and the campaign just ended immediately and I was furious.

Looks like lots of others agree with me in saying we are happy/excited about this new campaign series. Although I think I would have preferred to watch you play as one of the smaller other factions like Thrace or even Scythia (correct me if those aren't available factions, its been a while.) Thats only because I'm afraid it will be too easy and short. I love the idea of doing it as the Persians instead of Macedon, though. And if its short, who cares.. love me some LoTW playing Rome 1 & Medieval 2

The AI doesn't need to pay upkeep for units, that's why it can afford to have a bazillion armies everywhere.
From one player to another damn fine work sir but no offense you were a fool to disband. Any army always put them aside in a fort you can immediately take those armies board them on your powerful Fleet and sail around and take one of the cities of Macedon
I was thinking of playing this game the other day, and about 5 seconds after that thought passed my mind, I saw you playing it. Interesting choice being the Persians. I like eastern factions for whatever reason. Rome 1 is still a very acceptable game. Good fun

I cant even run this game on windows 7 it lags so much, but i can play medieval 2 with no problem. Is there anything i can do to fix this?
+Dreamer It's probably a problem with the CPU. Nothing I know of that might fix it. The only thing I can suggest is lower unit size. But this game is just lagging for all systems. It is build to only use one core, so even with the best processor, you won't be able to play it without lag. Plus the engine will just lag on huge battles.

***** Well, there might be something you can do, but this game is developed for hardware from more then a decade ago. There is a chance you just won't be able to play it well. It took me about two hours just to get it working...
