@@virtualbikerides it’s about a 5 or 6 step process to get to a web browser on the peloton monitor. The only downside is your rides aren’t synced to Strava or peloton but who cares 😜🤣
If you're local the heads of the Fox River Trail are in Oswego and Algonquin which is approximately 38 miles one-way. Slightly before downtown Algonquin the Fox Trail transitions into the Prairie Trail which ends in Crystal Lake. If you ride the Fox Trail - Prairie Trail from start to finish from Oswego to Crystal Lake (vise-versa) its about 45 miles one-way. You can easily do a century ride on this trail round trip but you will just have to take a slight detour to add the extra 10 miles. It can take up anywhere from 4 - 8 hours to complete if you're riding at 12-15mph average depending rather its a one-way or round trip.
If on a gravel bike, you can head north from Stern’s Woods all the way up to Hebron. Can refuel at the popular gas station and head back down. The views from the gravel trail are breathtaking taking.

Great video I ridevthis trail often. Beautiful ride!
Sweet! It's a real nice trail, yeh. I've done Crystal Lake to Elgin so far, plan is to eventually get to Oswego in sections.
Great rides,,, excellent alternative to the boring peleton videos.
Glad you like them! How hard/easy is it to watch UA-cam videos on Peloton? I heard you have to jump through some hoops

Got it! I wish it were a simpler process. I guess you can add activities to Strava manually 😅
You seem to have much nicer trails than us in Milwaukee.
Where is the start? What town?
This video began in Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Will you go north from Crystal Lake on that trail next time?
No plans to do that so far. I did want to start at McHenry at first, but Metra only goes there during weekdays as far as I could tell.
