After all these years I'm not exactly sure how black parents are still ignorant to things that happen in public schools.

I think they’re desperate to pretend they don’t know. Most don’t have options outside of the local public school

    Excellent and thought provoking segment/conversation!
Unsocial Media has the most negative impact on the overall psychological in today's youths!
    When I was growing up as a kid in the 1990s;
you would sometimes get teased or made fun of regarding name brand clothing.
That's as far as it went!
Now in this day and age; kids and adolescents are violently attacking each other over something so nonsensical as a:
    liked comment or a photo!

I had a class in college about Black history that began pre-Civil war into Reconstruction. A standard practice we did, upon starting the class every day was to search up brief, biographical facts of certain people, places and events. One of the people that stood out to me was Hamilcar Barca, father of the great military leader Hannibal Barca.
I learned that Hamilcar taught Hannibal to never be friend of Rome; in fact he even made his son take a blood oath to remain an enemy of Rome. That impacted me, because my father was drafted to fight in Vietnam during the 60s when he was in college. He too instilled a subtle but passionate hatred for the United States in me. Which explains why I have never and will never vote and also hold in high respect the 9/11 attackers. My dad was the only veteran I knew that respected and admired the enemy he was fighting against.
My question to Black parents is could you do what Hamilcar did for his son, Hannibal? And remember Hannibal is still discussed and studied to this day, especially in military strategy.

    Basically; the parents shouldn't allow
    Unsocial Media
    (IG/FBook/Tok)
    to
    raise their children!
Teach your children not to allow:
hashtags, comments, views, trending, and viral to shape their overall confidence and self esteem!

Cultural violence occurs in the “city” as well. Ambitious, serious Black students can get ostracized and bullied within their culture as well.

I grew up in the hood and had to fight my way thru school. I grew up, moved to the suburbs, and sent my son to a predominantly white school. I can concur everything this guy is saying, and it’s even worse than what he’s saying.

Would he rather his children or grandchildren were not be aware of who was enslaving his ancestors? Would he rather when these names get thrown around the teenager says "who?" History can teach us a lot, to not teach it because it's something you don't like is stupid. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Does maths have European names in it? Do you mean Pythagoras? That's not a reason to avoid numbers.
A lot of illnesses have the names of the men who studied them, should we be put off knowledge solely by the way it's described and call it a violation? It could be offensive but don't volunteer to become it's victim or set that up as a hurdle to fall at.

He is referencing the naming of mathematical formula's after Greeks when, realistically African civilization was the father of math. When modern day scientists still cannot understand how a civilization built perfect geometric structures at scale like the Great Pyramids in alignment with the Sun's cycle, you know math had to be used.

If the mind is all then all is mine I've been telling you all for the longest timeIf manifestation is the ultimate matter then everything that you focus on automataSo you see what's visual taste what you put in you feel and here what's vibrational and smell what your focused onDon't get it twisted
know that your power is consistent
know your magic know your worth
know deja vu is no coincidence
    For instance
we're all co existing and co-dependent
on the Sun and the Moon to be a co-parent that's why it's so apparent that you need nature and nurture to grow a parent if you know a parent think apparent
I don't just think of appearance
peace out that's all I'm sharing

We know we’re inferior & we accept it because we don’t want to come together or help eachother. It’s like siblings fighting eachother instead of sharing & the parent is neglectful.

The biggest cultural violence is taught in black homes when parents don’t monitor the music and the art of their children, absorb the colorist and r/acist, music and art
the music and art that makes them hate their own people
the music and art that makes them hate the women of the race
