Watching this after the new Sonic movie trailer, with the vastly improved CGI model.
The new trailer reconstituted my love for life, of which the first trailer nearly destroyed with that living nightmare they tried to call "Sonic".

The hedgehogs dillema is a concept used to explain why forming meaningful connections with people is so difficult. This concept uses the analogy of 2 hedgehogs in the winter. As I'm sure you're familiar with, hedgehogs are small, spikey, and BLUE. So when the winter time comes around, the hedgehog has to cuddle with another hedgehog to secure warmth. But because they are spikey hedgehogs, the closer they get to eachother, the more it hurts. In this analogy... We are the hedgehogs. And we have to decide if we can endure the harsh winter of life, cold and lonely... but never having to deal with the painful spines of social interaction. Or we can accept that social interaction is a necessary part of living a healthy life, but also accepting that it comes with the risk of rejection, humiliation, and betrayal.

Hey jobby i love the vid, sonic games have thier moments like, colors on wii, unleashed and generations, on ps3 and the original sonic 1,2,3, sonic and knuckles on genesis. Even though i grew up with mario 1&2 duck hunt, life force, and donkey kong sonic has a place in my childhood

This man has summed up how it's like to be a Sonic fan with, coincidentally enough a comparison to the hedgehogs dilemma.
One could argue that it's harder to be a fan of Silent Hill, and as a fan of both I can see why, comparatively speaking Silent hill has been in the shadow of mediocrity for years, but Silent Hill is still a respected franchise known to have proven the gaming industry to be capable of being an art form.
Sonic has been a painful series to be a fan of because you have no respect on any side, SEGA has been completely inept at making fun games, the fanbase is filled with obnoxious crybabies and the horrors of Deviantart, and outsiders to the franchise will make fun of you for liking this series because of said fanbase and SEGA'S complete incompetence.
So do you cling to this series you love knowing that you're going to suffer from derision on all sides and be subjected to the painful games to come? or do you let go, wander for greener pastures that could barely fill the hole you left behind, potentially clinging to another painful franchise to love, or quite possibly have to come to terms with the thought that such a greener pasture does not exist?

Its not for the current price. Its around 100 USD now, which is a ripoff considering you don't even get any accessories. Its initial price of around 30 bucks is what its worth and if you can acquire it for that price range go for it. The aftermarket prices though are insane.
@@Ergeniz The one that goes for a lot has a ton of awesome accessories, it used to go for 50 bucks I think, I actually got it for 40 recently! (yes the original, not the EZ)
