Here's my review of the Mayhem Mekanics / MAAS Toys The Unrustables B*stards! This is a double review covering the Unrustables ( Burley and Iride ) and The Spector Rogues. These are Kickstarter funded third party Transformers of an original concept, riders that combine with their bikes to form giant robots! It's an entire toyline of repaints and remolds. fun

The specter rouge seems like the custom painters wetdream. Any painting you do on it would make it infinitly superior to the out of the box status.

I think the "flamethrower" weapon is actually supposed to look like Kaneda's laser cannon thing from Akira. Also, the red bike is called Otomo, as in Katsuhiro Otomo.

Was looking forward to this review, didn't disappoint! The whole raider-gang aesthetic appeals to me but the price is a bit difficult considering the fiscal troubles I'm having atm. Overall great toy, great review!

6:30 such a small guy he's jam-packed with accentual vitamins and minerals? Sounds like breakfast.
Jobby, when you have a clip on a hinge, just push the item in and away from the direction the clip folds at the same time, instead of just pushing it straight in there. It will make it so much easier to plug things in without the clip folding in. So for example, because the clips on the side of the bike want to fold down, push up and in when plugging in a gun (or the chainsaw).
Love the look of these figures, the hands are my selling point and the weapons are like my demon self's version of christmas. Although I don't have this figure personally, I'll still fight tooth and nail over at least the Spector Rouge. Have a good day, Jobby!

i like the on the fly stuff better, i miss the freeze frame animations you used to do, but i know how time consuming it is, but i feel you had more time with the figures too and was better to watch. also, i like the idea of using random items as the opening joke for size comparisons, i.e.

Hey Jobby, I just bought my first model kit which is the High Grade Gundam Build Fighters Star Burning Gundam. I have not built it yet due to my lack of tools for it, but i just want to say it was YOU who influenced me to get that model kit. All i have to say is...Thank you Jobby, and i hope your happy that you have a person that was influenced by you. Holy shit. This figure is everything you'd want. Tons of accesories, cool details, it transforms, comes with many alternate faces, and has option sets that can be manually painted. I'd make my own custom as soon as I get one of these.

This is the only transformer I've seen on your channel that I actually like. Mainly because it doesn't look like a transformer. It looks like a Gundam/transformer hybrid. Love the weapons and features. This will definitely be my first and probably only transformer purchase!

I actually like the Spector Rogues one, just because I like Skeleton motifs, but if I were to add some color to it, I think maybe adding some purple in between some paneling or other indented areas would probably work. That or adding some spray paint designs that look like bones.

The line was kickstarted. None of the actual figures are technically Kickstarter exclusives, though. The red one that's clearly supposed to be Kaneda's bike from Akira was sorta exclusive, but the company says they'll be selling them at cons. The little Kickstarter triangle is apparently for the word "Bastard" being on the box, because the retail version of the line will be just the Unrustables. As far as I know, everything in the box is the same otherwise.
