Again, as a 40k player and hobby enthusiast, "I refuse to believe that a human hand could be this precise with the details in painting" is a thought i had so many times i really think i can't count them.

what can be reviewed with 40k figures? most of them are static, still, like stone, no swivel, no nothing? and he has to build them, paint them, glue the figure, and other stuff, so yeah, I'm a 40k fan but I dont think it is a good thing to review, or lack of stuff to view. Also knowing his history with Gundam, it becomes more unlikely
I love how Jobby can convey info about a figure into 10 mins while adding comedy; while most reviewers take an hour to review a single figure. Keep up the good work, Jobby!

It's a matter of what kind of viewers want which kind of reviews. While you may not like longer sparsely edited reviews, a lot of other people do. Thus different kinds of review styles.

The amount of weapon customization is absolutely mind boggling! Overall this is a absolutely STUNNING looking figure with such a gorgeous color pallet as well! 🤩

The funny thing, most Bandai Metal Build Gundam figures I’ve seen reviewed chip terribly but this third party one looks immaculate.

And they're smaller and more expensive, such as the tiny Musha Gundam metal build figure.
This is definitely one of the few figures I've seen that seems genuinely worth the $200+ price tag. I'm genuinely impressed by the accessories of this figure.
I even think it's a bargain. But that must be because the MP Transformers reviews have broken my sense of pricing.
I am so glad that I am not the only one who gets giddy over armor separation and articulation mechanics. Thank you Jobby, that spine display was spine tingling!
Sheesh, this mech is absolutely gorgeous! The accessories, customization of the weapons and the stand is wonderful. I do agree, missed opportunities are there but, I don't think it's enough to detract from majesty of the Takeda Shingen.
well both the Gundam series and the Brave series shared the same original mechanical designer, Kunio Okawara, which explains why J-Decker has straight up a Gundam face.

plus Gundam didn't invent this general body type for a giant robot anyway

I love it when they add the little details along the bending locations… good gracious that front crunch…the spine details… gives me shivers. This review is so awesome with showing all the little details that typically wouldn’t be noticed. Looking forward to the next review. Yes, I miss that jazz music. :)

but that cost way to much now day's to even come close to make something like Genocyber's level of robot detail

I told you that you wouldn’t be disappointed with the Takeda Shingen. Everything about it is top class, from the look, articulation and the weapons/accessories. It’s an awesome figure and definitely worth the price even though you got yours for free lol.
This figure looks amazing, I really love the hair accessory. I watched GaoGaiGar myself a while ago and I loved it, and seeing you watch it was great. I really hope you do review the Pose+ GaoGaiGar cause that figure looks so awesome.

As soon as i saw the neck extension I knew this company knows what they're doing. Neck articulation is so under appreciated because it adds so much character to posability. Even 3zero fails at this.
If only Bandai cared about Gundam this much to make a figure this good.
I have this figured already and I don’t have literally any of the quality control problems that you have. And the plastic is very durable. Like the clips for his hands are extremely durable and they don’t even have any stress on them. By the way there is a bonus accessory inside the mystery box and five cards with some good looking waifus.

I got this as a gift for my 20th Birthday a few weeks ago, and I love it! I am not someone who knows anything about Gundam, but my mother heard from a friend that her son likes that stuff and I suppose she thought I would for some reason lol but despite my lack of Gundam knowledge I still love the figure! Thank you for the awesome review as always mate!

Actually, I think it's a nodachi/oodachi, since those things were pretty massive and typically placed on the back.

i would say that it’s likely to be a nodachi, as tachi were generally more curved while also being longer than katana..

I'm not saying this to be a Gundam nerd, I want Jobby to review more Gundam figures he won't regret it, there are many pre-built metal grade figures and plastic figures that are at an insane amount of detail, I say pre-built because gunpla can be kind of a bitch sometimes
Yeah man, stuff like metal builds, metal robot damashii, and ka signature figures are all great pre-built figures that don’t require as much as Gunpla requires at times(though Gunpla is fun, it’s really not fit for his channel now, but I think that figures would do great)
Gundam are either model kits and or tiny, overpriced action figures. They're not as accessible as other action figures for me. That's why, even though I like Musha Gundam, I've not bothered with the models.
Jobby actually is having fun in this review and I love it!

While technically not a Gundam, this figure seem to have "borrowed" a lot of design elements from the Astray and the Strike (MG versions probably).

Great review. You mentioned all of the flaws and/or areas for improvement that no other review I've watched has mentioned. My version came with one (extra?) red mane of hair and I think the figure cost around 150 - 200 dollars? I think it was a preorder special at ShowZ? My Japanese girlfriend got it for me as a Christmas present (yes, that's why I don't need no Japanese bento being sent to my flat in Japan, kids; I've got access to the hottest Japanese box action already). I've got it on display near my TINY musha Gundam metal build action figure (which cost the same price as this figure, and which my girlfriend also bought me), which is shocking.
What is also shocking is why Bandai isn't making massive, poseable Gundam figures like this for around 1-200 dollars a pop. Who wouldn't want a musha Gundam figure at the same scale/size as this figure?
Also, exchanging the helmet with the mane was a bit of a chore, as it slots in/out and an odd angle.

I love how Jobby even shows when he breaks character from his side personas from laughing too much. It's hilarious. And of course this figure is pretty damn sweet; I'd love to see a model kit being made out of it.
That articulation section was lovely, the figure just keeps on giving.

I might buy this I always loved the brave/non-model Gundam (inspired) figures
It does look pretty epic, and the price tag is mostly justified but those fragile bits still have me concerned. Also not the biggest fan of oversized shoulder armors, but that's just a personal preference.

Saw the Exkizer in the thumbnail preview and had to watch. I LOVE Exkizer, just got a mint condition complete 1990 Great Exkizer (King and Dragon...$$$$$$...) a few months ago and I am working on fixing up a second one right now...and just heard Soul of Chogokin is doing Exkizer. Haven't been this excited or happy since I got my SOC Gaogaigar. Fkin awesome, love Brave stuff!

Love the vid. Also putting this on any Moshow review to let people know. Moshow is (to my knowledge) re-releasing this figure and Masamune Date in 1:100 scale. Essentially 5.5-7" metal build like figure. So excited. I love these figures but getting a similar quality in a figure closer to a standard 1/144 or 1/100 model kit or 1:12 figure would be amazing.
I just got this figure a few days ago, and it is amazing. I definitely agree with the ankle armor complaint. It feels too weak, and the peg comes undone fairly easily.
However, I can look past that fairly easily, especially because of how awesome the rest of the figure is. It's strong, sturdy, and super posable.

Normally I’m in awe about how bad a $200+ figure is that Jobby reviews. Hands can’t hold weapon tightly, loose parts, no part storage, and so on. This is by far one of the best I’ve seen. My god. I might actually get this.
