Thank you for watching!! Hopefully this was helpful for those planning to travel long-term, or wanting to go on a long vacation! We’ve definitely learned a lot of lessons in our 3 years traveling, so feel free to message or comment your questions and we would love to answer them! ❤
Consider Turkish cotton towels or the Japanese Irodori. For me, microfiber is very harsh and doesn't feel so good. Do you have to use a converter with that plug adapter? GaN PD chargers are so gooooood and tiny. Try downloading maps in advance if you can. VPN is key, even at home...no tunnel splitting either. Some US phone carriers have exceptional coverage worldwide, included in the plan (🤓 T-Mobile). Some sinks/tubs are yucky. Ultralight bucket or camp sink packs up super light with minimal weight. Ultralight bags or DC material is deceivingly sturdy (although can sound "crinkly") can help cut weight. Check the country of travel about meds AND over the counter. Japan is serious about certain meds. What was your base weight for your bags, and packed out? What a great list and video!
Thanks for watching and for the extra tips!! For the towels, I started with Turkish towels but found that they were bulkier than the microfiber towels we switched to - there are some microfiber materials that are softer and more compact than others, and it did take us a while to find it but it was so worth it 👍🏽 With the plug adapter, we do have to use a converter in some places. For our bag weight, we try to keep them at around 20-25 pounds so that we can hand carry them on most flights. Thanks so much for watching!

Will I have any problems bringing my knives and tools in my luggage?
Hi, you will have to check-in your luggage if you have knives and any sharp objects! They will not allow you to bring them in your carry-on
