- Talk's Julia Hartley-Brewer and Conservative commentator Benedict Spence slam students at Columbia University in New York, after dozens of pro-Palestine protesters were arrested on campus by police overnight.
New York City Police arrested dozens of pro-Palestinian demonstrators holed up in an academic building on Columbia University campus late on Tuesday, and removed a protest encampment which the Ivy League school had sought to dismantle for nearly two weeks.
Columbia University President Minouche Shafik released a letter in which she requested police stay on campus until at least May 17 "to maintain order and ensure that encampments are not re-established."
Julia Hartley-Brewer says: “You just want to put something on Twitter, and you just want to look like you matter and care!”

They have demonstrated over and over again that they do not have a clue , as have most of the "pro Palestine" i.e. anti Israel commentators here.
Clearly they do, which is why they are showing solidarity with the oppressed! They may not know about all the world's injustices but at least they are prepared to stand up for 'right' when they are informed. This vile woman and idiotic man are so stupid they don't even recognise that these students are young and growing in understanding. They are waking up to the political world. Thank God they haven't been sullied by the likes of Brewer and her side kick.
