Yesss, looking drippy my boiii🔥🔥 I feel like one of the best aspects of the game is armor design and being able to completely change the appearance of your character and make it look the part for the settings of elden ring.
I f'n knew there had to be more to that dungeon. It was too quick and easy to get to the boss fight. I was going to do another run through of it, but in Elden Ring, fashion I was quickly distracted by another task and forgot all about it. 😅
I’m glad that you started this journey, and to be following since the first episode. I’ve also just started binging your Fallout playthrough as well. When it comes to the end and the “review and final thoughts” I would also reach out to your one friend who was helping with the advice; there’s two endings to this game, both giving big story elements for future games. I would have them find a good video for you to watch after the end of YOUR playthrough so you don’t accidentally spoil yourself. Back injuries are never fun, I’ve had to go to the chiropractor for years because of scoliosis so I totally get the “sitting in one place” thing. Your fan (as you were talking about it) actually sorta adds to the ambience so i don’t mind it; it’s like it’s the air being pumped into the facility to keep it at a normal temperature lol. If you happened to look around the snowfield, you would actually see just outside the facility a parachute, which would trigger Snake and Campbell to talk about Liquid possibly surviving. Completely missable, and it’s just another good attention to detail The voice acting is so good in this game. If you were paying close attention to the conversations between Snake and Naomi especially during the jail cell sequence where they discussed Big Boss and Grey Fox, you can tell she’s hiding something. You aren’t sure what it is, but it’s just enough to let you know there’s something more going on. I personally feel both the last conversation with Naomi about her relationship with Grey Fox and Big Boss, as well as Grey Fox and Snakes final conversation, are some of the best voice acting in this entire game. It’s so emotional and impactful from a story standpoint (Wolf’s final monologue as I said last time is incredibly acted out as well) Ah yes, the infamous Master Miller twist. Cam Clarke is a phenomenal voice actor. I only recently found out he was Toph’s dad in Avatar The Last Airbender. He does such a good job of slowly easing out of Masters voice and into Liquids that you spend a moment confused, “why does this guy sound familiar” The moment you realize it, you start to piece together how similar they sounded since they share a voice actor. But they hid the twist in plain sight too. You can’t call him during the Hind D fight, cause you are fighting him yourself. There is several Codec calls that he slips up and slightly gives himself away, from being extremely happy Snake has the last key (Snake himself says “Master, I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this excited before”) to even talking about Snakes family history after the Raven fight despite “I don’t think I’ve ever talked to you about that before, Master” REX’s boss fight can totally be difficult to manage, but with a little practice you can “loop” him. Chaff grenades cause the missiles to not track you when they are fired, timing a throw just right, strafe to the right, face REX BEFORE equipping the stinger so that way all you have to do is look up with it and shoot. Idk if it’s an actual thing, but for the second phase fight I believe Stun grenades can blind Liquid for a moment, since the dome you were shooting was an “electronic tracker” and destroying it “causes Liquid to expose himself” because he has to manually look at you. Brace yourself, you’re at the end and in the true “tough” segment of the game. Here on out is difficult but I believe you can do it. After that, the controls and everything become wayyyyy easy to control and you’ll have a better time with MGS2 onwards. I fully recommend bringing a notepad, especially with notes from this game (summarized of course); if you think this game is wild with its twists and turns, you only are just getting a small taste.
You can just drop down, go past the frogs, and use margits shackle in the opening to the next ramp with the two chariots. Using the shackle hits the big johnson and makes them crash without having do any of that dangerous shit.
