EDIT: My opinion has since changed, since at 150 damage is insanely high, and even at 120 its still a bit high, and you still can make powerful builds. Im doing 133. Fextra says it will let me matchmake with 120 all the way to 166, so I can get a bit more stats, and also fight with both groups, since the community is split, with many of the good players disagreeing on it. Personally I say 120 is good, despite what I said in the past, due to then I did not see all the insane rings we have, just a few of the not as crazy ones. I also think 120 should be the meta for dueling, 150 should be meta for everything else like coop, and higher level pvp, 133 if you want to be with both will work also since you can play with 120-133. Below I will list a few builds that can play with 120, some at 120, 125, and 133, all are viable, and work very well. Magic stats at 133 so it can play with both groups that works and lets you use the spell that needs 70 int, and have a lot of fp so you can magic spam, and use moonveil, and have good health, all without talismans, just use talismans and try to get better endurance and health. 50 vigor, 30 mind, 10 endurance, 18 strength, 18 dex, 70 intelligence. Add talismans for more cancer, switch int for faith if you want faith, works ok for that too. You can also lower to 60 if you don't want moon, you can get rid of some health or another stat if you don't want to be at 133 but want 120/125. My strength build template for 125 is 60 vigor, 25 endurance, 66 strength, 18 dex. Add rings to it and you can have even more carry weight if needed, more health, more stamina, more fp, or whatever since there is a talisman or armor for that. For quality I would also say 60 vigor, 25 endurance, 40 strength, 40 dex, puts you at 121, so you have some room to level something else also. For Dex I would go 60 vigor, 25 endurance, 27 strength, 55 dex, which effectively lets you use most weapons also, and lets you have a little room for 2 more levels unless going higher like to 133, which it gives 10 points. 120+5 is fine for meta, but I will go to 133 to be in between the two just for the sake of playing with both groups and having a more simple time getting builds running. If you have any questions on builds, I can throw some stats together if I see the comment, I am perfectly fine helping with that.
There a guy who did the testing with softcaps. From what he read 60 is the true soft and SL 150lv. Anything above 60 is a waste of points. I'm in endgame zone at 103 and still get 2-3 tap by bosses
60 is the health soft cap, 50 is for end str dex, 80 for faith and int, I dont know about arcane If you’re doing a quality build, you would want 60/50/50/50, this leaves you at level 166. Going above 60 is not a waste for str dex and maybe end at the moment. Edit: Soft cap is 80 for stronks and dex. Still, probably go 50 50 if you do quality, maybe.
I literally dont see why more mages play as a hybrid, the advantages are great, between phalanx, magic glint blade with alternate delays and stars or ruin you can seriously put alot of mid-long range pressure to force a roll which you can punish as a frame trap, too much of these mages just resort to spamming when hybrid melee/spells seems way more engaging and effective in my eyes
because this isnt real magic in most peoples eyes, the fact he had to finish the fight with an lol melee weapon is actually terrible.
@@jarrarwinks8470 Vigor 60, Mind 60, Endurance 50, those are the caps I'm aware of. Not sure about the rest.
@@jarrarwinks8470 It's 80 for STR and DEX. Someone on reddit did a whole table based on actual analysis.
Spam go BRRRRRR
It’s 100% because it’s just more difficult that guy had some serious skill
@Ger Vang carian slicer will be your workhorse most of the game as a melee mage
Your comment broke in first sentence.
because this isnt real magic in most peoples eyes, the fact he had to finish the fight with an lol melee weapon is actually terrible. Just go melee...mages are supposed to be able to cast a fuck ton of spells at both long and mid/close range nearly endlessly to force tripups...and sorry to say "spam" is much more effective than what this guy is doing, this wouldnt even have been a fight with a normal mage build lmao the hammer dude woulda been wrecked in like 12 seconds.
Im absolutely enamored by him holding his attack at 1:01 . He didn't spam, didn't unsheath, but rather waited for an opportunity. Masterful (人 •͈ᴗ•͈)(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)🩵
He just like me fr
That last attack the invader did was honestly really dumb. Not sure why he did that.
zip it up when youre done bro
That final blow was cinematic as hell! And the bow too. That dude has my respects.
