- Had an excellent day fly fishing my 3wt in the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire. Most of the fish caught were native brook trout I believe a couple were stockies but nonetheless it was an awesome day.
Water temps were great! Sitting at around 58 to 62 degrees depending on the sun and more shady areas. I live for this and you guys have probably realized that by now. Brook trout fishing will always be at the top!

Any tips for finding these small streams? I live in southern nh and most of the streams are too warm for trout most of the year. Any guidance would be much appreciated. Love the channel!
@@destro.4554 yeah southern nh is tough in the summer months for trout for sure. I find these small streams by mainly just exploring new areas. I look at maps of rivers and smaller streams. I have had a lot of good luck this year fishing the smaller tributary streams that connect to bigger rivers. Hope this helps a little bit I’ll try and make some tips in the next video I make as well!
