I once a saw a woman who had a bit of a mental breakdown when she found her husband was cheating on her and others have become depressed or physically sick due to the rejection or loss of someone subhaana'Allah.
I realised how dangerous it was to love someone completely with your whole heart and give someone who is fallible and mortal the ability to shatter you completely

However, loving a specific human being to the point that you forget your own self, do not give the haq of other human beings and yourself and thus morally degrade yourself is actually an act of worshiping the creature itself. It is not love the way Allah intended it to be.

It’s so true. I’ve seen this play out in my own life as well as others. Your relationship with God must come first. If you put anything of anyone else in that place it’s idolatry and it’s going to ruin you as well as the other person.

This is for both men and women who end up so blind that it may as well be worship of their spouse for some and then the disappointment afterwards.
This is not a breakthrough thing, it’s always been there, allah and his messenger deserve more love than ourselves, next comes yourself and then everyone else.
The idea is not let any relationship become your blind spot - love unconditionally and execute patience and loyalty.

What happened?
Dont complicate love. The love for our creator Is One thing. It Is divine love. Human love, created by our creator Is something else. Our creator expects us to love him and to love our fellow men. There Is no competition. Love Is love. Simply, One Is divine and One Is Human. There Is no wrong or right way. Love cannot destroy.
What she means i think is that the unconditional love should only be for allah ,because you will never be disapppointed you will only be rewarded, where as a man or woman are faulted and Can cause you a heartbreak an unbearble pain, imagine for exemple The Man you loved so deerly marries another woman, if your love towards god is greater your heart will hurt but get better because your focus is on allah, but if you put your husband above anything in this live, above allah and above yourself you will get very damaged by it, so love but keep focus on allah and on working for your afterlife and never forget to put yourself as a priority too, as the men should do the same

I wish I came across this before. I guess some of us have to learn it the hard way. But Alhamdulillah, that is what my Creator had destined for me and I am lucky to have experienced this pain on multiple levels. The love of my life tried to break me, crush me. But I stood there unfazed. I am a servant of Allah and only Allah can break me.

I’ve been thinking like she said since I was a teenager.. When I told people I just can’t love a person with my whole heart they just don’t understand.. I felt heartbroken before but not the point that I couldn’t move on.. A week after I felt just like myself again. It’s totally true that when you’re putting Allah in your heart, He protects your heart and gives you hope to enjoy another day..

this is true, but what many do not understand is what it means to love god. That means you do his will first and formost. So yes you do not put anyone before god, but you als do not put yourself before other. its is deneighing oneself and serving eachother what is truly going to bring balance to you. this may sound crazy but we already do it all the time. for example with our children or something that you hold dear. my warning is to not misenterpate this, because we are loosing alot of people for not understanding this.
in Christianity we call it idolatry, we are commanded to love but not idolise. its GOD then spouse, I've had to learn that aswell, GOD showed me that I idolised my husband.
