Chicago Virtual Bike Tour | Bridgeport to Chinatown [4K]

- Feb. 27, 2022 - Chicago's Chinatown is one of the largest and fastest-growing Chinatowns in the US. The vibrant neighborhood (and the surrounding area) is a great place to explore by bike, even during the winter. I rode from Palmisano Nature Park in Bridgeport, through Armour Square to Chinatown, before finishing in Ping Tom Park. Along the way I passed through Chinatown Square, an outdoor mall featuring great shops and restaurants. Chinatown Square can get pretty busy, especially in the evening, but the crowds were relatively light when I filmed.

I wish you would have rode up a little closer at the end of ping Tom park. I wanted to see where they are with the construction of the 78 neighborhood.
And there’s where I work in the background haha. Thanks for making me go to work on a weekend. Nice ride, stay safe!
Way cool! The first half of the video feels grittier than your recent videos, but it's great seeing that part of Chicago also.
I like that view of the skyline towards the end of the video. It used to be easily visible from China Town but years of construction has the view blocked. Nice to see a bike path over there. I've seen the neighborhood a few times on Chicago P.D. Have a good ride
Great ride!
What you doing today? Beautiful Saturday, high 60’s. Snow tomorrow I think tho lol
I can’t believe the beautiful weather today! I have a busy day today but hoping I can get out on the LFT this afternoon! How about you?
@@chicagobybike did a quick group ride with a south side group. Fun. I want to ride more tho. Might hit the lakeshore later. Stay safe
Right now 🚲on Chicago's streets you are inhaling road salt🧂 🚚 dust if you are not wearing a mask/buff. You can see👀 it in the white film coating in the video.
Wearing a mask definitely is not a bad idea, especially this time of the year!
