Hi Love love this horse so adorable I’m making 6 of them for my daughter’s baby shower with a horse theme Your directions were so easy to follow Thank you, Kathy
@@Bethxaldc I’m not sure what your asking. The legs are done at the beginning. Then are crocheted in at the end. All the pieces are made and attached in this one video. There are no other videos that go with it. Hope that helps. 😊

Oh yay! I’m glad you are enjoying crocheting with me! 🥰 definitely a nice way to spend the wintery days! I took a break over Christmas, and an ready to get back at it again. ❤️😊👍
I don't know how i missed this little guy!! He is so cute, I have to finish my little devil man first, then I am so gonna start my own farm animals. I Love them all. Thank you so much for all your time, I know making up these patterns and doing the crochet a longs takes so much of your time, it is so much appreciated 🥰
We all need barns now, lol. And thank you! The pattern part is easy for me. I just wish I could find some kind of joy in the videoing process. And hearing my own voice. My little care bear guy has been waiting for 2 months to get videoed 😮
Oh, Rhonda, you are such a good teacher and how you explain while showing what you are doing, is just AMAZING! I just want you to know how very much I appreciate your tutorials, and how much I am enjoying your cute, amazing patterns. Thank you so much for all of your time, creativity, and sharing. I have spent many hours stitching with you. Bless you, and please keep sharing! You are a pleasure to watch!
This pattern is pretty cool. For this, I used Lion Brand Yarns "Landscapes Fusion" acrylic yarn and a 3.5mm crochet hook. It was extra yarn that I had bought and was looking to use. I am self-taught and do a few things a bit differently - my decreases are "invisible" so I put the hook through both of the front loops for the next 2 stitches then yarn over as if it were a normal single crochet after that. I also chose to do the additional row of decreases on the belly - I had 14 stitches before and it just seemed too big of a hole to close it nicely. After the slip stitch and fasten, I closed the hole by putting the needle through the front loops only and pulling tight to close in a neat circle. The yarn tail can then be put right in the middle of that circle to pull it in and flatten; and then woven through the piece so it is no longer visible.
These are some great tips!!!! I think now I use most of them, except I only invisible dec where I think holes could be a problem . If I were to redo this video I would definitely do it all the ways you’ve described! Thankyou for sharing them on here! 🥰
A big huge thank you! I've made so many of your patterns for my kid's & family ♡ I love the drop down bar & love the longer videos where you show how to do the stitch & embroider. Thank you for this CAL! I’ve been struggling to find a pattern that works with plush yarn that my daughter is happy with, and she approves of this one.
Oh yay! Most of my patterns work with plush yarn (you may have to skip the first row if it doesn’t stay flat) and I didn’t even plan it that way, lol. Hope your daughter loves it 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing all these adorable patterns for these animals. I just made the horse to gift to a child & it is absolutely adorable!!! You and your videos are the Best!!! ❤️I sincerely appreciate you!!!
I used velvet yarn 😅so soft, easy if you place the yarn to weave in front st only, and not in and out the way you're doing it, it pulls in way better almost to close it, hope this helps
I’ve thought of a sheep lots, but I’d want the face a different color than the head and body , and use a puff stitch. So I’d have to totally change the whole pattern and have to sew the head to the body. So maybe someday, but not too soon,
I absolutely love your videos!! I can follow along with no problem.. Thank you!!!! Do you think you could do a Beagle video??? I’d greatly appreciate it if you could!!!!

The word jumper is confusing me, when I hear jumper I think hoodie. Do you mean a halter by chance? I do have a video of a sitting horse from way back when I first started that I did a quick halter just tying a piece of yarn in around the back of the head and wrapping it in a circle around the nose and then tying it under the nose. Pretty simple, but you could do chains instead. I’ll add the link to the video, and the timestamp is around 2:13:00. Hope that helps 😊 ua-cam.com/video/MC_IFL8e8qE/v-deo.htmlsi=oDhsrFneH-EWmlQ9
I believe I used most of a 10 ounce ball of Bernat blanket yarn in the plush yarn for the main color. Maybe an ounce or 2 for the hooves and main. Hope you enjoy making it if you give it a try ❤️😊❤️
Could this pattern be made but with black yarn for the body, hooves, and hair? My friend wants a black horse but i wasnt sure if the eyes would blend into the body since theyre black and all
I’ve stayed away from black faces, with black safety eyes for that exact reason. But you may be able to add some white accent with yarn around the safety eye. Or maybe a tiny circle of white felt. Maybe try searching black crochet and see if it gives you some ideas, It’s definitely doable 👍😊
I think I say in the video before we get started, I believe it’s a little over 4 ounces in the brown. Maybe a couple ounces of black. It’s the mane that takes a bunch
I can’t remember now what I did, but it looks like I made the base chain the length of the neck, just like I started in the video. Then instead of making spirals, I did the chain twice as long as I wanted it, and created a loop by attaching it to the first base chain, in the same stitch I began in. Move to the next stitch in the base chain. And made another loop like the first, doing that all around both sides of the chain.
Hi Katattack, I don’t really go by length, I go by weight. But I used about half a 10 ounce ball of bernat blanket yarn for the brown. So a 5oz ball or two 3oz balls should do it. The hair/tail and main, should easily be less than 3 oz. Hope that helps, and hope you enjoy making your horse ❤️😊❤️
Without rewatching it myself. It should be in the ring, I call it a loop, but you can start it anyway your used to as long as you have the same amount of stitches. Also, there’s no silly questions. 😊 hope that helps 🥰
@@bg12445 ahhh ok. I’m thinking of using the flat part of the plastic containers baked goods come in. But then the walls have to be double sided. I’ve only used mod podge to try and stiffen heart ornaments, but I think I did it wrong. Well I know I did, lol.
Yes! I think so, I definitely have thought about it as well as a lama. You just might need a support there, depending on how long you make it. I’d maybe do the cow one though, cause the tail will be the same, and an idea for the horns, if you don’t already have one.
Thank you. What kind of yarn did you use for the plush horse? I’m trying to find Baby bee super chunky but I can’t find in tan and black. I love that kind of yarn. It’s so soft. Thank you for your videos. They are wonderful for a beginner like me. Lol.
