Hi elna. I am happy you posted this. I have sent 5 pitches so far. Three cold emails and 2 to problogger. I haven't gotten any replies. But I plan to send way more this week.
Hi Ruth! For many it takes a lot of pitches before you gain a client. Some say they pitch 50 before they get a job others says hundreds while others gain their first job with one pitch sent! Keep hustling!
Amy that makes the two of us.I paid for an article writing course and thought that's it! I got a rude shock when I got to the ground, rejection after rejection. What I didn't know is that my portfolio was more of hobby blogging than content writing. The painful part is, no one told me what I was doing wrong until I saw Elna's video right here on the same( blogging vs content writing). Truth is, I am still traumatised but doing fine in the industry..
Like many others I am new to freelance writing, your video is very helpful for my research on how to pitch. My background is a self-published author of science fiction and fantasy, I mention it only in the context that I see now the freelance writing industry is, in a sense, a whole new genre for me, with lots to learn. I also like to share videos like yours and post them on Linked in and Facebook, my question though relates to sharing on my freelance website, is this considered not professional? My thoughts are of creating a page on the site just for helpful links for others who may visit my website.
Hi, Elna, thanks for your videos and all the information you give us! My case is this: I have many years of experience working as a freelance writer, I've worked for several websites and I even have my own, but in another language. This year I decided to make the jump and write in english, since I can handle it well. From your point of view, all this can be a problem for potential clients or can be helpful?
If you don't want to be known as a bilingual freelance writer, then make sure you create a new brand under English and don't reference your other non-English site.
Hi Elna, I am very Thankful for your content writing videos. I have an aim I want to become a Top Rated Seller on Fiverr would you please help me to achieve this goal. Thanks.
I suggest a laptop. This is a business and it's not like taking surveys. You have to sit at a desk, outline your content, research credible sources and write an article. Then edit it and submit it!

Hi! I think you can share your self-publish author status on your writer website. It would be best fit if you are a ghostwriter for authors!
@@ElnaWrites That is a very good point, thank you.
