Watching this makes me realize how different the fatalities are in MKX compared to MK11. X def went for a more gross out and quick approach, while I feel that 11 went for a more drawn out comedic approach. Both are interesting ways to do it but I find myself preferring X’s just due to their length. They’re short enough where I want to do them.
This game has a horror theme and 11 has an action theme. Look at the DLC characters for example.
Predators 2nd is a call back to when he kills carl weathers in part one.
That's the better of the two. I also like the little touch here. In his other variations he get's the targeting system (better imo) but without the mask there is just his thermal vision. Neat detail

I felt the fatalities in this game were very hit-and-miss. It's really putting into perspective how well the ones in 11 account for its characters' unique abilities and personalities.

I think the fatalities are more violent than 9, but there aren't a lot of Memorable ones
9 Fatals were sweet and short to the point. Overall they could be considered good with some notable exceptions. In X I find fatals either go too long or have to many steps that make you Scratch your head and they kill them multiple times over for the “sake” of it. With some notable exceptions. 11 combines these ideas having them be relatively short compared to 10 and the fatal actually killing them and not “ I’ll rip your head then throw my sword to your head then stomp on your head then burn the body” ya get what I meant

Mileena by far has the best fatality. That stomach bisection is the worst/best.
I remember being absolutely horrified the first time I saw it. Good chunk of the fatalities are head-based or heart-based thus instant death. Mileena's bisection fatality, you're watching yourself die and that is truly horrifying.
I think barakas new one in mk11 is the top worst way to die honestly, he rips your face, then your jaw and finally your brain all while your still alive

It's simple, it is interesting, easy to understand. But most important, it is REALLY theatrical. Look at how the background disappeared and the queen is slowly revealed. Paying homage to horror genre and the alien saga. Everyone has a different opinion, but from a technical POV, the direction, pacing and meaning are great. But, if you personally don't like it then it's okay, everyone has different opinions

To be honest i thought the whole point of mortal kombats fatalities was suppose to be gruesome or icky and leave you with a impact of "dude wtf did i see" or "holy shit". That's why i liked kenshi's,bo rai cho, and ermac's gruesome/icky fatalities because for me at least it shows how brutal/gruesome mortal kombat can be showing you "Hey if you lose you'll suffer like hell"

Mileena’s second fatality will always be my favorite. I love how brutal it is.
Kano's knife fatality is actually pretty good in my opinion. You can feel him saying "ya' ain't worth my time mate, Imma instead use ya' for target practice" and what's more, is his throws aren't perfect. They aren't aligned properly, showing you that he DOES in fact need the practice. Points off for the blades being completely clean, but at least he held them correctly when he threw em' instead of tossing the blades by the hilt. 8/10 for realism, comedy, and showing a couple minutes of Kane being serious for once.
Too bad it’s just a rehash of his MK vs DC Fatality.

MKX feels like the horror inspired MK game and I love it. It really shows in these fatals.
My personal opinion and favorite is Ermac, he removed the entire digestive track which you obviously can't live without, but it's creative because most of the other characters just go for the heart and brain.

Well, I highly disagree with your scores. For exmp. Jax's is a 10 easily and Kenshi's second is a 10. Also, Liu Kang's first one is better than the second one, Ermac's first one and Mileena's second one is easily a 10 in my opinion. Both of Cassie's are a 10.

When I think about it - MKX have pretty much the best fatalities in last 3 games of the generation.
9 is still waving between "much good!" and "laaame" but still loveable - and X don't have something extraordinary but all of them are polished to the perfection.
