Everyone, in every ZIP code, deserves the opportunity to live a healthy life and achieve their full potential. The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is partnering with communities to make this vision a reality through the Health Equity Zone (HEZ) initiative. HEZ is a health equity-centered approach to prevention work that leverages place-based, community-led solutions to address the root causes of health and well-being.
