THANK YOU for all your videos! I so appreciate being able to actually watch someone working the stitches, as opposed to trying to figure out the written instructions (as an advanced beginner crocheter)! I love the gingham blankets and am making a few now for baby gifts!💖
Ohhhh, Tiffany, I just completed this blanket using white, denim navy blue, and a marbled yarn (3 grays and a medium blue). Used the odd numbers always ending on a single crochet as you instruct. It came out fantastic! No need for any edging on the sides. Just in time for the pending (August 16th) arrival of my new grandson. It looks so great. It’s a hefty blanket but sooner or later the weather will cool off and he will be styling with his all boy blanket. Yes there is a learning curve but not steep and well worth the effort. Your videos 100% made this easier. I love this pattern and so glad I purchased it! Thank you and I hope you have good news for a grand baby of your own soon.
Tiffany, thank you for these patterns and lovely videos. You make us all feel very comfortable trying these patterns. I want to make a gingham blanket and the Boho modern granny.Such lovely color combinations! God bless and keep you all.
This is a super fun blanket to make and with how well you described everything I am confident I won't even need to reference the pattern again. Thank you! ❤
This project took me a while. I also had some problems with turning and wound up adding stitches. Smh. I did a half double for the boarder and then pompous or bobbles from one of your other patterns. I really liked the texture of the blanket!!
I found this in Pinterest but only the pattern, and I checked in UA-cam if there was better explanation... steps by step and fortunality i found it 😀. I can't wait to try to do it. Thanks very much for your time to teach.
Love the colours! Always interesting to see how others do it. 😉 You're a skilled and patient crocheter. Beautiful projects. My tips: 1. make separate balls for each column - no more dragging along and it saves yarn. 2. when done with one colour, bring it to the front - easier and a neat start when you turn the work and have to swap colours. Just my 2 cts.
Hi Tiffany! I’ve been admiring you’re gingham blankets for a long time and have been very nervous to try making it as I’m still very much a beginner but I think I’m going to finally give it a try. Thank you so much for all of your tutorials, almost all of the stitches I e learned so far have been from you.
MAAM..YOUR TUTORIAL IS THE BEST BY FAR I HAVE SEEN AS IT M'S PRESENTATION IS PROFESSIONAL, WITH CLEAR VISUAL EXPLAINATION AS WELL AS NOT RUSHED. CAN YOU PLEASE, PLEASE MAK A VIDEO ON HOW TO MAKE BABY BOOTS LIKE TIMBERLANDS AND SNEAKERS??😊
I love it! I bought a sage green, tan and white...I was thinking the sage green would be my medium color, tan for the dark and then white...so you think that would look ok??
Just to emphasize to definitely swatch before starting this blanket, I used a DK weight yarn (Stylecraft Special DK) and a 4 mm (G) hook to achieve 2.75 in. square which consists of 11 stitches and only 8 rows.
I love this, but I’m having an issue and I’m not sure if it’s an issue or just the way it is. I am using a dark slate blue, a medium slate blue, and a white. When crocheting the white squares, I’m seeing the medium blue yarn that I’m carrying come through and the same on the medium blue squares, I’m seeing the white carrying yarn in my square. Is this normal or is there a trick to doing this that I’m not getting?
When doing the sc on top of the sc & the dc on top of the dc, doesn’t the height of the dc column get alot taller than the sc columns? You make gingham look so easy...going to try to make one 😁 thank you!
I have a question when working the yarn on gingham blankets, would yarn bobbins work? I have used them when knitting with different number of colors. They do get tangled but not so bad if your careful. I am going to give it a try. Let you know what happens.
Thanks for this video! I purchased your gray gingham blanket pattern. This video seems to apply most to that pattern. You mentioned at the end of this video that you would post a link to FAQs about making gingham blankets but I don’t see that link. I hope you will post it here. Thanks again.
I am an experienced crocheter and starting my first gingham pattern for a baby in the griddle stitch. . I am very disgusted. I have done 2,3 rows and ripped it out. It looks horrible and messy. Not at all like it’s suppose too. What am I doing wrong? I love the way the ones posted look. But maybe I need to move onto to something else. But Im not one that gives up easily. Any help advise would be much appreciated….I have tried to find how I can message Tiffany but can find her. Thank you.

Bonsoir malheureux que vous ne faites pas de sous titres en français
Hello mam
You never showed how to do the three colors... like you just did the light, dark, and then never included the white
Watch the entire video, because she does show the white.
Thank you so much.
