I think what we need to look at is why neighboring countries can’t or won’t take them. Set up refugee for them and US can funnel aid to them. Don’t we have enough immigration problems as is!?
Their neighbors won't take them because they know it wouldn't be a temporary stay. What we should be asking is why are we taking them and why are we funding their need to flee in the first place.
